I'd like to personally thank @Cosmogony for diligently picking holes in many half-assed arguments/statements that are elsewhere endlessly repeated as some sort of objective facts and protected from any kind of proper scrutiny (or, hell, even slight objections). It's almost cathartic to watch those beat-downs so, yeah, good job.

Being a bit more serious for a moment, there are a good number of people who do that very well, it's an incredibly useful service to provide free of charge. Anyone passing that up is an idiot. I get my shit posts shown up as shit, learn something in the process, do better next time. Win win.

Honestly, I’m impressed that whichever mod rejected it saw that post, remembered it, and connected the dots. In fact, after all the bullshit of 2012-2017, it makes me want to shed a tear knowing that I can say that and still be friendly after, just like I would with my mates in real life. I'm not sure what the state of things are at RE as I visit only briefly about once month to see headlines, but give this thread a read / peruse some pages and take a moment to appreciate what you have going here at NeoNeoGAF. Close you eyes, lean back, tilt your head up, raise your hand to your mouth, and silently thank the team/the mods/the community/*cough*the exodus*cough* for the upgrades and improved & open discussion. I don't get the feelings at all here that are described in that RE thread. So good on you for being respectful of one another.

An extra thanks for people in my Switch thread for helping me pick stuff. I don't keep up with Nintendo gear. I would have never thought about Overcooked 2, and getting that specific glass protector. And ya, I decided not to get the SD card too. As an Xbox gamer, you always think about extra HDD space as a mandatory purchase now, so I assumed you needed it just like the XBox One OG 500gb (which I had) is not enough in the long run.
The kids' Nintendo gear are all wrapped and taped up in a big cardboard box ready to go on Christmas Eve.
