At least it's nicer

for the PS version :P
No I'm asking about the gameplay. Are they comparable or so different they can't be called similar gameplay experience?

By allowing slower SSDs to be compatible on the system, this forces Sony first-party devs to have to cater to lowest-common denominator when making their games. They cannot provide suboptimal experiences for the PS5 owners who opted to buy cheaper/slower SSDs as Sony openly said it was an option they could elect to make. There should be no "first class" and "second class" gamers on console as this defeats the purpose of a closed system which differentiates consoles from PC.

Not quite, wouldn't the lowest-common denominator still be the internal SSD? I could see what you're saying if it was replaceable like the PS3 and PS4 but this is only expanding what's already available. They even include a disclaimer that some games may need to be copied back onto the internal SSD to work properly.

100% not true, Sony clearly tells you that if the speed is lower some games will not function as intended and recommends you move to the internal or get one with the right specs, lower speeds internal is probably to play PS4 or crossgen games if you want to who don't use the internal ssd anyway, but 1st party games and some exclusive games like FF7RP2 will 100% take advantage of the internal ssd's full capabilities in the future

If you have to wait 30/60 seconds in front of loading screens on a PC, while there is no loading screen on console, yes they are different expiriences.
If you have to watch high fidelity assets on cosole, but lo res one on PC for lack of asset streaming availability on PC, yes they are different experiences.

Watchdogs on console w/ raytracing is a beauty to watch. Watchdogs on my PC (w/o RT) is nice, but not the same experience as on a console (yes, I have Watchdogs on PC and on PS5, so I can compare)
in what universe PC's will have subpar performance version compared to any console especially not the most powerful of this gen? what drugs you use guys? stop with this ridiculous ignorance ... PC as always has happened will destroy any presumed momentary advantage in any console ... there are already SSDs on the PC market that mortify that of the ps5..and no ... no the other part of the i / o will not change anything in the situation
