Indie Bundle Thread - There's another one?

Geneforge Saga is the new game up on IndieGameStand. I don't know anything about it so from those of you who have played it, what are your thoughts?

I checked out a few videos of the geneforge games and was pretty impressed. Easily took a chance on this.

Edit: Plus this is 5 games not just one.

Oh yeah I must have missed that just skimming through the description! That's an awesome deal then, I'm for sure picking it up.

IndieGameStand is going to be the death of me, there's no way I can pass up these deals.

Hey, is Kung Fu Strike given to any purchase of the bundle or only the Beat The Average purchasers get it?

It's not entirely clear...

Everyone; or at least people who bought it before it was revealed. I only paid $1 a few days ago and I got the Kung Fu Strike key.

I took a chance and bought it for 1 USD to a friend and yes, Kung Fu Strike comes with it.
This is perfect. :D

Maybe by new kind he means a new set-up? For example maybe instead of pay what you want for a set group of games, maybe it could be like you have a pool of games and get to pick a certain amount instead. Like a make-your-own bundle.

Or maybe it could be a greenlight bundle or something. I don't think they've done those before have they?

I bought the music bundle but I'm not interested in eBooks. Unless they are mangas or comics.
I'd buy a Humble Manga Bundle on day one (well almost, after judging the contents).

Well, there is a comic in the bundle, but one isn't enough :P

Signal to Noise is pretty cool, though. :P

has anyone tried gifting a groupees bundle?
are you able to add on the amount later?
and do the $5+ goodies get unlocked accordingly?

The only thing remotely interesting on that list is John Scalzi and Neil Gaiman :\

Not interested. I get my ebooks elsewhere. Grats on them for supporting both mobi and epub though!

That's a great deal. The top price has increased to $10.99 instead of $9.97, but it's still great value for 3 games, one that's not even released yet, and all of the design documents, art, soundtracks and so on.

Edit: The price keeps going up, it's just gone up 3 dollars in 5 minutes :| Still good value so I bought it. Get in quick if you want it.

Wow yeah, the way this is set up, those average prices are gonna go up real quick. Didn't notice the "top supporter" thing was you had to be one of the top 20 purchasers at the time of your purchase. That'll keep the average pretty high, at least until it gets too high and people decide they'll just get the first game for a buck instead.

Really? Its a pretty terrible deal. I'd have to pay 15$ currently for it. Both Divine and Beyond will be 2.40$ during their 60% off sale, and Divinity II has been out for a few years already. I got it on Amazon for 5.99 earlier this year.

I mostly bought it for the soundtracks and development books etc. It worked out at around £8.50 which, minus around £3 for both of the older games is just over a fiver for the bonus content, plus a newer, possibly improved version of Divinity II. Not too bad. Still annoyed about the price increasing though even without a refresh. I know it's cheap still, but it was $10.99 when I first checked. Went back to my GAF tab and made my post above (ironically about it being $10.99). I click back on the GOG tab, and it's telling me I need to pay $13.99. Annoying.

That's a pretty terrible system. I already have the first game so it's pretty much useless.

Really Big Sky is the new game over at IndieGameStand.

BTA ($1.08 when I last checked) to get the dev's previous two games (Lunneye Devitsy and Wake) as well as:

Part of the Tormishire Soundtrack
Wake Original Soundtrack
Lunnye Devitsy Original Soundtrack
Manuals for Wake and Lunnye Devitsy

Hm I made the purchase in addition to beating the average but didn't get the bonus content. I'm assuming it's because the average went up while I was on the checkout page but I feel like it should probably stay fixed once you checkout.

There's no option yet to increase your donation so I tweeted at IGS to see if there is anything to do, if anyone else has had this issue.

I don't see the bonus games either, which is what I bought it for since I have Really Big Sky.

Really Big Sky.
Not too bad of a shooter, took a while to get anywhere though. Once you unlock all the modes, you also unlock a remix mode which jumps from mode to mode while you play. I felt that particular mode really made the game standout. Just be sure to turn off the in game commentary...

Steam key for Really Big Sky?

Edit: Yeap! Bought.

Edit2: Oh... Product already owned you say? That's what I get when I make purchase decisions when I'm so sleepy.
