Only problem is when games are more than one world or have generic words in their titlesMagic.
The gameplay consists of platforming and fast paced sneaking, both sneaking on your prey and sneaking in order to avoid larger creatures. A lot of focus in the development has been on enemy AI.
The player character moves a little differently from in most 2D platformers, it is not animated by traditional means but with simple physics. This is an attempt to make a character that appears a little softer, as well as an experiment with a different control scheme.

Same with Prisonscape. Now that looks cool, like total inverse of Prison Architect in a great pixel style. What's difference between alpha testing and beta testing? Because you can email the devs to alpha test Prisonscape

Anyway, Malebolgia looks like it's coming along nicely. Was reading through the Steam comments, some people should learn what artistic freedom is. I think the art style really makes the game stand out and the abstract look adds an unsettling otherworldly atmosphere
Only email I could find on the site: tuomas.hynninen@gmail.comMore bugs and less content. Whats the email to contact them about that?
If you are interested in doing some alpha testing (for free, as we unfortunately cant pay you), send us e-mail.

Day one DLC for special weapon and armor.
I'm not 100% satisfied with the visual style yet myself. I might change some of the colors or add in a visual filter of sorts.

Ugh, can't explore very much right now. Game keeps crashing after about 10-15 minutes in game with a huge memory leak going over 4GB of RAM. Planet loads take ages now and the framerate is getting strangely inconsistent. They said they had a patch due out monday but I feel like it's crazy to leave the game as it is (crashes and a pair of incompletable planets) for its debut weekend.
Hi! Very sorry for the Bug it looks especially nasty to track down but we are onto it! "Fortunately" it seems like it's affecting only a small part of players, but that means it's not super easy for us to reproduce
What OS are you on? Do you think you could send us (info at santaragione dot com) a copy of your player preferences? They are located in:
Windows in the registry under HKCU\Software\SantaRagione\MirrorMoonEP
Mac in ~LibraryPreferences folder, in a file named unity.SantaRagione.MirrorMoonEP.plist
Linux ~/.configunity3dSantaRagione/MirrorMoonEP

Ok, just finished MirrorMoon EP and I can tell you that Equuis Oils from KR0 is just a beginning;D
What are your thoughts about the game? I'm tempted to buy it, despite having promised to myself I would not spend money buying games this month.
Which file in particular for windows do you need? I don't see anything that sticks out as a specific "Preference" file in the registry folder. I'm on Vista x64, latest updates.
This will be in my top 10 this year, without a doubt.
Claire is lost and terrified as she and her dog find themselves in a warped reality that is a nightmarish reflection of their own. Alone and hunted from an unknown force lurking in the darkness, Claire's only hope comes from helping the forlorn people she comes across. But as Claire searches for a way out, she begins to unravel a connection between herself, the people she is trying to redeem and the force stalking her from the shadows.
This looks like a helluva game. Reminds me of Lone Survivor.Claire - October/November 2013

If you like slow exploration and lots of mysteries, waiting in a deep slumber for curious wanderers to wake up, then go buy it at once!

Thanks. I found out about Prisonscape yesterday, thought it was a game that needed more attention. Seems that most of GAF can't stand pixel graphics, but I love the art styleThis looks like a helluva game. Reminds me of Lone Survivor.
Nice job on the Prisonscape OT, too. Been following that game for more than a little while and I actually thought it was dead up until a few weeks ago. Glad they're getting updates out again.

Congratulations! You have been elected Kaiser Earth. The people of Earth now rely on you to keep them safe from the dangers of space. Decide how you want to build your spacecraft, and attack any potential extra-solar threats; or maybe welcoming other galactic species to Earth might be a good idea? You are Kaiser Earth, you decide (at least for your term of office). Good luck.
- Create custom ships from randomly generated modules.
- Protect Earth from threats, strategically command your ship in battles.
- Decide the intergalactic policies of Earth. Its up to you to ensure the Earths survival, prosperity or doom.
Kaiser Earth - $2 on dev site, $4.99 on Desura

Played the demo. Ship building felt like a 2D Starmade, which is cool. Gameplay is a mix of real time/pause-and-plan tactical combat against enemies (with a more action focused "dual stick" control scheme coming in an update). You have complete control over each module, from individually firing thrusters in different direction and to aiming your weapons. It takes some getting used to, but I think the game has a lot of potential
I think you're confusing Prisonscape and Isomer.Meh, if you told me yesterday you'd create an OT, I'd have avoided buying it and waited for other Gaf impressions. Let me know the next time please, I dont need to spend 10$ just to give some impressions on a game nobody bought if an OT is going up the next day and other people will try it That money could have been spent on something less pushed on GAF.
Any idea about the Desura rating? What could people make it possibly rate so low?
I think you're confusing Prisonscape and Isomer.
It could be the game crashes randomly.
The games from LA Game Space will be available next week.
I believe the complaints were from the lack of direct control and the slow paced tactical gameplay, which is way the dev is adding an optional dual stick style control scheme that removes pausing. At least that's what a friend on IGS said,Any idea about the Desura rating? What could people make it possibly rate so low?
Your own experiences or Desura comments?
Meh, I never really trust Desura ratings. People spaz about problems with games that aren't even out of alpha and toss out garbage ratings, and I'm pretty sure they don't get wiped when a new version comes out so bad reviews from from buggy builds hang over. On the flip side, a lot of developers seem to close ratings when they're super high so you don't know if the ratings are artificial inflation attempts or not. Even without those two factors, the sample size generally isn't large enough to get a legitimate consensus.Any idea about the Desura rating? What could people make it possibly rate so low?

True.I know that too, but there is usually still a REASON for it, no matter if its a good reason or not. "Buggy on release, but fixed now", "random crashes" and " too slow for most people" are all judgments that people could push to a low rating and I like to know which one might be the case as one of those 3 would prevent me from buy the game. Thats also why I asked for a possible reason and didnt just say "6,1??? MUST BE CRAP!".
I THINK we discovered the bug! Sorry about it by the way
We are testing a fix now, if it works we'll push it to Steam tonight!
Thank you for your help!
!!!
The four games are "Off-Road Velociraptor Safari, Blush, Time Donkey, and Crane Wars".
About Chess the Gathering, the devs offer to organize a tournament.
Anyone interested in a tournament?
So dev on CtG is a little stagnant right now as we explore our other prototypes, but we were thinking about doing some tournaments at some point. Do you guys think it's worth it to add a spectator mode to make it so you could watch if there was a tournament going on? Would you be interested in a tournament?
Thanks!

I try to manage them as best I can. I keep people who don’t like each other’s “looks” working on different projects like barricading doors, exploring the bank for supplies, constructing traps, and making meals. Tension grows, however, as survivors get stressed and frustrated, squabble with each other, and disagree about the best course of action. Time for some psychology.
I try starting a rumor, which is something I can do to mend relationships. Everyone is hating on one survivor, Kelsey, so I make up some lie and let the others digest it, hoping it will improve their disposition. I spread some gossip that Kelsey wrote a book. Since Vincent isn’t comfortable around women, I make the book about a man. Since Maria doesn’t like older people, I make it about a young man. Since Stephen, for some reason, has a beef with the middle-class, I make it about a poor young man. I can’t remember why Joe likes the book, but it’s probably because the book is the opposite of something he hates for no real reason. At any rate, everyone is a bit happier.
Man, Male Bulge looks awesome, I can't wait to play it myself.
But dem jaggies :C
I assume SMAA would get rid of most of it though.
