Believe Jason Sudeikis GIF by Apple TV

Another one not to watch, but considering it gamescom from the 19th aug then hopefully a proper direct is coming

Ready for release dates on these games:

No Rest For Wicked
Mio Memories in Orbit
Eternal Life of Goldman
Hollow Knight Silksong
Mina the Hollower
Hades II
Bloodstained II

& Maybe some good new surprises.

Hopefully some Switch 1 updates in this.
Yeah, after the huge free No man's sky update and a bunch of free Nintendo updates I was expecting more of them, but after the Switch 2 launch we got nothing.
Maybe Nintendo didn't send out enough devkits

Have they other done a partner, indie and proper direct close together before? I remember a couple of them being weeks apart or combined mini ones, or a pokemon one but never 3 in a few weeks.

While you're waiting for Mina and Silksong and Hades, definitely go check out Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo. Easily the most slept on indie game right now. Probably the best 2D indie Zelda-like I've ever played.

Cool. Looking forward to being disappointed by the total lack of silksong information. By this point I fear that it has lost too much momentum. A lot of the fans of the first one has already died of old age.

UFO 50 is begging for a console release.
I literally just bought on PC despite wanting it for Switch, so I'm sure they'll shadow drop it this week just to spite me.

My sacrifice is your gain.

Cue all the posts about Silksong showing up even though it rarely, if ever happens that an already-announced game would show up here. Especially one as high profile as Hollow Knight.

Well, I already have it on PC with a playtime over 90 hours. I want the rest of the world to experience the greatness!

First Animal Well, now this. The yo-yo is having a Moment in game mechanics. Thanks for the recommendation; this looks great.

These indie world tend to be like: Hey, here's check this new Minecraft spin off / mobile game from Bethesda / newest Assasin's Creed mobile runner.

LOL

I honestly used to enjoy these quite a bit, but the last few have been complete busts. I'm hoping that the Switch 2 will help revitalize the format a bit, but that wasn't the case with the Partner Showcase, so I'm not too optimistic.

Indies have a lot to work with, esp with mouse controls

It's a three stage rocket, first the partner showcase, then he indie and next week we get the big guns - a true direct.. (pls)

I'm only expecting Hollow Knight 2 and Nordic Ashes
Only laughing because all the "insiders" are rumoring if you are expecting this, to not bother tune in.

They could be right… as the garnered attention this game has might be saved for a general direct in September as Nintendo has historically done.

I'm admittedly out of the loop with the insider meta. Though I guess Hollow Knight being absent makes sense since it's going to be a Gamescom later this month.

I don't follow it a bunch myself just saw a few recently posted rumors. I personally would love for them to be wrong

Preparing to be spoken down to by a pandering voice for 30 minutes. Overexplaining farming sims and delivering insufferable puns.

It seems like Microsoft probably has an advertising deal with Team Cherry, since Silksong is going to GamePass and keeps popping up at Xbox presentations. Microsoft is going to be at Gamescom to promote their ASUS handheld, so I agree that we may finally see Silksong drop then.
