Indivisible: Valkyrie Profile/Metroid, Indiegogo, PC/Mac/Linux/PS4/XB1 -- funded!

I suppose now that I have the payment all settled and leveled, I'm okay with showing the tier I went for.

Final Stream sketches that have found their way online:
I'm in the middle of the Shokugeki no Soma anime, so Kogi totally got me excited. Of course I had to figure out some way to incorporate Annie and the theme turns out to be disappointment lol. Here's to Kogi learning how to be a real cook by the end of the game.
Less than 1000 to ANIME
Your numbers are kinda off. Still about 10.5k dollars away.

I'll call that a testament to the amount of money this has reached, that I already am unable to process those numbers :P

Guys.

2-3 years development cycles is like entirely common.

Would you rather they do like every Kickstarter and say EARLY 2017, and then have an update "we've ran on difficulties, game has to be pushed back to early 2018"?

These guys know how long a game will take, and it's their most ambitious title. Better to be safe and perfect it.

True. Most people don't even hear about games until well after they've started development

That looks great. Congrats on the sketch :)

Danke.

And yeah, as impatient as my inner child would like to be, the amount of dev time asked for is very reasonable. It just seems like a long time since 2018 sounds like the faaaaaar fuuuuuuture, to a lot of us. <_<;;

Where's my flying car?

Yeah, 2-3 years is the norm. Honestly, given the animation and art style, I'd expect longer for this.

Hmm January 2018 release....

That is too long.

Would you have preferred they do what most crowd funded projects do?

"We are happy to announce that Indivisible will be releasing late 2016"

Followed by...

"Sorry, guys, we have run into a little delay, we are going to try to keep the release date in the first half of 2017. Keep up the faith!"

Followed by...

"Unfortunately, we have really been struggling with the console transition. Don't fret, things are moving. We have almost crossed the finish line!"

Followed by a January release in 2018.

oh yeah, remembered to check my other email and here's my doodle (with name cropped out).

I practically never crowdfund but that doodle offer and talk of the art-manual was the push I needed, don't think I'll try any of the betas or follow the development over the years but I'll be happy to play in 2018~

I don't even know if I will have any interest in the game or gaming in 2018, but I was well aware of this when I contributed. Having played the prototype, I felt that this needed to become more than just a mere demo.

well, Ravi did mention preview builds of some kind for backers, so hopefully you'll be able to enjoy it regardless

8k to go. I don't see it being a problem hitting the goal before the end of the year.

Certainly before the end of the year. Possibly before the end of the week, depends if seeing the next stretch goal nearing prompts people to donate a bit faster, or not.

We're going to record a video on Friday, and it looks like we're going to be right at the cusp of funding it.

Our contact is in Japan now firming up things with the studio, so I'm hoping we'll be able to announce who they are soon.

Looks like I'm going to pick up Leah's game of origin today in the PSN sale

Code:
Curses 'N Chaos PSV 6.99 4.99

It's a rather fun title. I got through all the endings a little while ago. It can get a tad repetitive as you fight with the same moves (true to its arcade brawler roots) against over 100 rounds of enemies. Though the various backdrops, music and challenge are rather nice all around!

I'm really looking forward to seeing her full glory in Indivisible!

Every time this gets bumped, I'm reminded of how happy I am that we are getting this game. Really looking forward to it!

Just saw this pop up on my Facebook feed. You can really see how happy everyone is that the game got funded and I can't wait for more content to trickle down over next year. Happy holidays all n. n

That's a pretty boss shirt on Ted there. And two Dreamcast controllers on Jonathan's shirt - Facebook trends are coming true, Dreamcast 2 confirmed!
