This has been kind of bugging me.
So, this might be me not understanding how swords and scabbards work, but can Toko actually pull the sword out of her cross scabbard reliably if this was a real situation? I might be overthinking or underthinking this, but if the sword is reliably long then how can she pull it out of the cross? Her arm width would have to be pretty big to get it out reliably and for it to not be cumbersome. A regular sword scabbard is bendable to a degree to allow some room for pulling it out I would assume. A katana is curved so it makes sense to pull it out anyway.
I don't know why I'm hung up on this, but it bothers me every time I see the character design. This could all be solved if the sword is tinier than I expect at least.
Some awesome members of our community are setting up a Thunderclap!
Please add your support so we can get the word out!

We estimate that Ajna's around 5'3", BTW.
So she's not very tall at all.
I really don't like how IGG takes immediate payment. Can't tap untill payday (which, thankfuly is Tomorrow) but god I can put a good half of this game's funding issues on IGG.
It's like the Chinatown knock-off of Crowd Funding,
To be fair it probably does stop some of the troll contributions you see on kickstarter.
That's what happened with Shenmue I think, someone grabbed of the highest kickstarters with one available and dropped out last minute.

It was really messed up because the devs had been livestreaming their reaction and were so happy to finally reach their goal
Kickstarter Terms of Service said:You can change or cancel your pledge at any time before the projects funding deadline (with one exception).
You can increase, decrease, or cancel your pledge at any time during the campaign, with one exception. During the last 24 hours of the campaign, you cant decrease or cancel your pledge without contacting customer support first if that action would drop the project below its funding goal. Once the project has been funded, you can only cancel or change your pledge by making special arrangements directly with the creator.
That's highly improbable
That's the thing, the troll made a pledge using a fraudulent payment method that got flagged by the Kickstarter automated system and it was eventually denied, 30 minutes before the goal end. That's the only way it can be pulled off.
I hope the guest characters have their leitmotifs in some fashion. Maybe when they first appear, even if it's only a 15 second clip. Honestly I just want to hear Hiroki Kikuta's take on Strike The Earth.

Given that most Henshin superheroes involve the main protagonist suffering from a great tragedy (usually losing a love one in the hands of a force of evil), but will take a powerful artifact/piece of technology to become an agent of justice, I'm curious to see how the guys at Lab Zero Games will take this character & will subvert some of the tropes that are given in the genre. Obviously, this guy is heavily based off of the protagonists of the Kamen Rider & Ultraman series, but I would actually like it that this guy isn't all that he seems to be.
Funding's stalled. *hits the media exposure emergency button*
No, this is the only extension they get. The funding will pick up in the final few daysreally didnt think this was happening because of how slowly it got to 500k.
but i think at this point its guaranteed to reach its goal. indiegogo charges at the time of pledge and the creator i think gets the funds immediately.
so indiegogo would lose such a large amount of money if they had to refund all these charges and messy as hell so they'll probably keep extending the deadline if they have to.
The Thunderclap will reach 400,000+ people. That should helpFunding's stalled. *hits the media exposure emergency button*
I'm not worried about the game reaching it's goal, but I am a little bummed that it might not reach many, if any, stretch goals. A lot of Skullgirls' were really cool and I'd hate to see a ton of rad ideas not be implemented.
That was to be expected once the 20 day extension happened. Hopefully it picks you in the final week as most funding campaigns make most of their money then. However, it kinda already went through a final week phase already so not sure what the precedent is for a second final week surge.Funding's stalled. *hits the media exposure emergency button*
Is there any time limit to the InDemand system?Indiegogo has a feature called InDemand, which is basically a formalized "slacker backer" system.
So while it doesn't seem likely we'll get many stretch goals during the length of the campaign, we can try to fund those with the post-campaign period.
Is there any time limit to the InDemand system?
You mentioned before that stretch goals would not change the game itself but build upon them, so that you can first finish the game as planned within the time announced, and everything else would come afterward. Doesn't that basically mean InDemand could theoretically run until the core game goes gold?
No, there is no time limit for InDemand.
We'll probably keep most of the current tiers the same for a bit, and then drop down to digital only tiers.
And even the stuff that is mostly outsourced still will require some additional work from us, so we can't go right up to the game's ship date like that. But we could probably do it for 12-15 months and be fine.
Getting Indivisible alone is a huge win on it's own. That alongside their new publishing arrangement with 505 games is pretty much a dream come true compared to SG's situation.I'm not worried about the game reaching it's goal, but I am a little bummed that it might not reach many, if any, stretch goals. A lot of Skullgirls' were really cool and I'd hate to see a ton of rad ideas not be implemented.
With regards to hiring freelancers for additional clean-up and animation duties, will you have a clean-up test for potential candidates to work and submit, sort of similar to the one that you guys did for the Skullgirls DLC Characters? Any additional job positions (BG, Character Rotations, etc?), as well?
Looks like it slowed down a ton since the extension. Going to need a big last minute push to hit the goal.

Yeah, which was expected. Maybe not quite to this extent, though.
Looks like we may have another big crossover happening before the end of the campaign, and we're going to put the prototype on Steam to make it even easier for everyone to get.
I love how hard you guys have been hustling on this campaign. Every single avenue you can grind out you take, and it's pretty heartening to see.

So many good potential crossovers
Good luck to you guys. You've made it this far. You guys are really fighting, so it's gonna happen.Yeah, which was expected. Maybe not quite to this extent, though.
