How can you tell how many stunts you've completed? And for that matter...how do you do the flying melee one?

You can't.. The pause menu displays recommended stunts that haven't been completed. The flying melee can be done by using the shockwave and then melee the enemy before he hits the ground. Or, simply corner any enemy at the edge of a building and hit him once or twice before he falls.

My PS3 just YLOD right in the middle of me playing and my game is stuck inside..... I think Im going to be sick. Another 60 GB launch unit bites the dust. RIP....5/27/09

: (

So now I'm post game and I have total control over the three islands and I'm trying to get some trophies that involves defeating enemies, but there's no one left :\

I'm a little peeved right off the bat at this game. Don't get me wrong, I'm liking everything about it, and I have planned to play through good and then evil on the second playthrough. My beef was with the first mission. When given the choice to
either fire at the civilians or let them have the food
I sort of wandered around for a few seconds, then put a round into one of the reapers that was on the ground to finish him off.

This cause me to get the evil end to the mission. WTF? I was pretty annoyed. Anyway, I'm back up to guardian now, but it was just something that bugged me real early on.

Holy hell.. I thought I was putting some crazy hours into this game.. and I'm not even close to finishing. You guys are nuts :lol

So then just either shockwave, then run up and punch the enemy before it touches the ground, or just melee an enemy over the edge?

Though I might have lightning drop in mid air or something, since anytime you melee while in the air, you do a lightning drop.

Woops. I read how many shards there are on the first island, but I grabbed a bunch when I got to the warren now I have no clue if I got them all :p
The difficulty ramped up as well, I'm glad to see the bagboys are harder to kill than reapers

Someone suggested earlier to back an enemy up against a wall and perform a shockwave then time a melee.

That sucks man. I'm constantly in fear that my 20 gig is going to kick the dust. The fan kicks in very quickly when I'm playing this and other games. It's also getting warm where I live though.

Just gotta shower then I got the whole night to play, can't wait!

Just got to The Warren when I last stopped, I can't wait to see what The Dustmen are like.

So I'm on 17/21 stunts, I've been stuck on the one where you need to force push (or whatever it's called) 3 enemies at the same time off the roof.

Has anyone found a good place to do this?
Ive been stuck on that shit since mid game :lol

There are a few you just have to find them. They still try and ambush you on the second island so try that.

And in my game theres ALWAYS a rocket guy near the tower on the airplane wing. Not sure what youre trying to complete. Ive already given up on throwing the three dudes off a roof stunt.

How do I knock down a Conduit without killing it?

ZAp it but not too much.

Anyways had to put the game away work tomorrow, but wow it is an exciting game, just beat my first boss.

LOL Has anyone else noticed that sometimes the side mission NPC's are glitched as heck and they don't have proper lip sync and sometimes act insane? It's really funny because they have some basic emotion faces that you don't always see because of the masks. I had one lat night I wish I could have caught on tape; I was in tears. For some reason the whole time she was talking she keeps shaking her ass and walking backwards. She must have gone halfway across the street, then for no reason she flashed a OMG face and ran away LOL

Seriously keep an eye out, you will see some weird ones.

I got that earlier I was like "Hell yeah" and funny thing Cole said the same thing :lol

ha me too. "oh hell yeah" anyone know how far am I along in the game at this point?

Honestly I wish they added that on the first island, it makes the game so much more fun.

Anyone have any tips on the RGIHT BACK AT YA stunt? I'm querying whether it has to be a Grenade, or whether you can use a Rocket instead - that would be easier, because rocket-launching enemies are more plentiful.

Also, any good specific missions which are recommended for helping to achieve this stunt?

That's the one I'm stuck on too. Rockets don't work. If you reflect a rocket it explodes shortly thereafter, so you have to get in real close, and then I did it successfully a few times and nothing.

You are supposed to use a shockwave to reflect the grenade back, right? The name would suggest that but the description just says to "blast back" a grenade. I was thinking maybe it's poorly worded and it wants you to shoot a grenade in an enemy's hand.

I said the same thing. LOL, I think the developers knew we would be saying that out loud.

Anybody hear the NPC's say any funny stuff?

I heard one guy yell at me "You ruined my Book Deal!"

Another person I coulda swore told me to "go eat some testicles"

Just started playing the game tonight

so far things are looking real good. The fact i keep getting sidetracked by the drop boxes, the power shards on that radar, and all the side missions and i'm still enjoying myself is a good sign

I see myself putting some solid time into this game. Just got the energy grenades which is real nice to have. And i just like how easy the controls are. I can't recall a move in all the jumping, climbing, fighting where i wanted to and meant to do one thing, and the character did something else. That's a HUGE thing to achieve, and will make me keep playing for a long time.

The side missions aren't the most exciting, and i'm a little disapointed i'm already repeating them, but at least there's more variety than the spiderman 2 ones :lol Speaking of which this game has a spider-man vibe to the whole thing so far.

The real game is sooo much better then the demo, I really disliked the demo but had to get Infamous since I've been wanting it all those E3's ago.

That's good to know because I'm finding the demo to be decent at best. Some stuff really bugs me though. The world feels too magnetic and why can't I walk off buildings? I could see this really growing on me though...

This is quickly becoming my favorite single player game this gen in the gameplay department.

GameTrailers nailed it with their 96 for the gameplay. Sucker Punch knocked it out of the park. I keep getting new powers and the mechanics TOTALLY gel. Missions don't feel repetitive at all. They've been nicely varied, and the fact that the combat rocks so hard makes me enjoy even the missions that are repetitive.

Most sandbox games I have to force myself through. I played GTA4 INSPITE of the gameplay...just to experience it. The combat was atrocious in that game and the mission design was lackluster. The only redeeming factor was how well designed the city was and it was the only motivation to keep going through it -- good atmosphere, weak ass gameplay.

Pretty shocking that I like a sandbox game so much for its core gameplay. That's a rarity.

Damnit, I have been running around the city everywhere I left about 50 districts open but there is no where that I have found where there are 3 people on the roof so I can knock off.

I had a Keerrrrazzzzy glitch where I would randomly drop through floors, crates and roofs and was unable to collect blast shards at all.

I had to die and then restart a mission to get back to normal.

I actually fell through the ground, then through the world and into the nether-realm while following one of those "visions" around. :lol

it's back to normal now.

Have you tried the roof near the mission to protect the medical supplies?

Woo, I just beat it playing as Good on normal. I'm going to collect all the blast shards and do 100% on each island though. First I'm going to go ahead and start my Evil playthrough. :D
