Which was weird since I have good karma.
"Don't shock me, bro." is another good one.

Nightz said:Oh my goodness I'm gonna pull my hair out. I spent the past 2 hours collecting shards, and after combing through each island building by building, block by block, I'm missing 2 shards! :\
They need a tool like in Burnout Paradise where you upload your save and it tells you which shards you're missing.

I went to buy it and was told it was being released on the 04/06 . WTF
No wonder Sony titles fail to sell billions. They announce the game for one day then release it god knows when.

LCfiner said:I think infamous has similar level of interactivity of other open world games like GTA or crackdown. scale the buildings, get missions on the street. have side missions and story missions.
White Man said:I'm loving this. It's like a more nuanced Crackdown.
The only complaint I have is that sometimes it's hard to tell where you are being shot at from.
george_us said:I really wish Sucker Punch would have just made this a straight-up action adventure game instead of this faux "open world" bullshit they were going for. The city itself has about as much life as a dead fish, it's not really all that interactive, and it feels like they're jack shit to do besides do missions or collect random shit. Plus all of the missions themselves are either the standard open world fare (tail this guy, go here and kill reavers, etc.) or are just remarkably boring (shut off the valves? really?). I like Cole's powers and everything but I'm only about four hours into it and I'm already getting bored.

i know it's listed as a may 29th release, but i've seen copies popping out for it.
I'm guessing you didn't progress very far yet. Thrusters + Air Gliding is the most awesome way to travel.Marty Chinn said:You summed up my feelings exactly. I'm a bit surprised at the high praise the game is getting despite this being true. There are more fun and better open world games out there, but despite that I'm still enjoying inFamouse for now. I still hate how slow the method of travel is though too. Another negative aspect since it is set in an open world style.
I got my Uncharted 2 beta voucher from my European retailer this morning.NIN90 said:So will the european version feature the Uncharted 2 beta?

MvmntInGrn said:I find with trees branches are the issue, sometimes you need to jump to a nearby tree then back to the original only you get a bit higher.
EDIT: Also I <3 stunts.![]()
Travel can be incredibly quick on the rail and power lines when you can glide on them. Faster than cars even in other open world games.Marty Chinn said:You summed up my feelings exactly. Those shards don't count towards the trophy.sarcoa said:Can I not get all 350 now? Did I screw myself?
sarcoa said:Sometime on island 2 I was doing a side mission, or something, where I had to choose between looting a guy's locker of blast shards, or defending him from some dust men. I chose to defend him thinking he'd give me the shards anyway (and I'm playing good my first time through), but instead he just said thanks and the locker shut with the shards in it.
Can I not get all 350 now? Did I screw myself?
mr_nothin said:No. Those are "extra" shards you'd only receive in a quest, they do not count toward the total shards you find on the islands.
