Bronze Trophy? hahahahahahahahahahahhahahahaha

kill me

Congrats! Where were your last few? I'm convinced mine have to be obscure, I just can't find them (or I'm just ridiculously blind).

I got the one way out in the water in Neon, and I don't think there are any high up in the tower in the Warren...any ideas?

Best place to level grind is the story mission Vengeance.

When you are on the third substation and everyone starts bum rushing you, they always come from the same spot. First there will be the six invisible guys, then two rushes from the northwest section(based off of facing towards the invisible guys). Then the truck from behind, then two rushes from the northeast, and then another truck from the same spot as the last rush. Then a rush from the southeast.

Trick to grinding is to kill everyone but the second truck, so as the final and last rush comes, you'll end up killing them before they get close, but the turret truck will finish you off before the substation gets to 100% capacity and ending the mission. Die, and the game loads you up right at the beginning with the 6 invisible guys spawning. I got about 5/700EXP every time thanks to getting Suspended Sentence stunt at least 4 times each go around and the 5-in one shot on every rush.

Plus it's super easy to kill during that mission because they give the best thing in the game for it and unlimited use of it.

Oh yeah. And use

Getting all the shards isnt that difficult itself (but it just can take alot of time though), i guess that is why it is a bronze trophy. But i must admit that i was a bit surprised to see that it was a bronze trophy concidering how long it can take to collect all shards and how big of a task it is. After all, there are 350 shards to collect, so it isnt exactly a too small of a task to do. I would think that a silver trophy would have been better. But anyway, congratulations on finding all the shards, nicely done! :)

Actually, this was my favorite mission, 1) because of the awesome ability you get, and 2) because of the fantastic dialogue from Cole.

Thank god I'm not a trophy whore cause I would go nuts with this game. lol
I actually gave it a second thought, but then said naaa fuck it.

So what, if anything, carried over to the second playthough?

XP?

Level ups?

Blast shards?

Dead drops?

None of that, and neither does any of your internal counters towards achievements (25 kills from a moving train, 750 megawatts, etc.). It's really lame seeing someone get this wrong.

Everyone should take a lesson from RE5 in this regard.

Wow, really? Just finished up Uncharted for the first time and proceeded to immediately spawn a new game off the cleared save for no other reason than to kill those first pirates with brutal combos for the two or three related trophies. When I ran out of pirates, I'd save, exit to title, and restart the file. No counters were reset.

Justin Dailey said:
To get the 750 MW trophy, can you just hold L2 in the substations (the ones that never run out of power)?

Everything from every run you did carried through in RE5, which I don't remember being done like that before.

You can do that for that achievement, but you'll probably get it anyway just from playing the game. I got it at the beginning of the third island (I was being very thorough).

Just finished my first playthrough on 'Good' last night, immediately started playing as 'evil' after that AWESOME ending.

i got 346/350 shards....but I have NO idea which islands the missing ones are. Also at 17/21 stunts... don't know whether I should finish these trophies off first before I continue playing on Evil...

That still counts. You can kill, die, save, and restart. But the counters don't carry over from different runs through the game, which is HIGHLY annoying since the game is based around playing through it twice. Fairly annoying oversight.

Did i just screw myself?

I just finished the Neon town and got 100% for taking it over, and got that trophy....now that in in the new area it doesnt look like i can get back to Neon, and i never got all the Dead drops in Neon. Can you go back to Neon at some point later in the game, or am i screwed?

Yea you will be going back to Neon town, just keep doing missions.

Just finished the grinding 25 kilometers and sucking 75 megawatt of energy trophies. Boy that took forever. Now I just got to get the last dead drops on the third island which I'm almost there. If I known I did most of these trophies earlier I would have gotten a plat last week.

You will go back very quick.

In Uncharted, I didn't restart the checkpoint to redo the pirate fights in the beginning, I restarted the entire file. (Once you clear the pirates, it autosaves a new checkpoint, so restarting the entire file is the only way to "farm" them easily without leaving some alive.) The counters persisted, and I figured that's the way it worked for basically all games. Disappointing that Infamous eschews that.

Maybe I missed something, but could someone clear up the good ending for me?

Who was "the nemesis intent on extinguishing all life?" It looked like evil Cole at first, but then you find out that Kessler WAS Cole, so... John maybe? Will this become more clear when I get the evil ending?

On a side note, I think it'd be pretty cool if Cole eventually got the same time travel ability as Kessler if you played long enough.

How many train missions are in the full game? I thought the demo was shit, but that might be related to how boring and repetitive it was.

My take on it is the "beast" that Kessler was referring to, might be Cole himself from another timeline. The reason why I say this is because the whole game is a take on being good or evil and evil "inFamous" Cole's powers are more destructive than the good "famous" Cole. In Kessler's timeline he married Trish and Zeke was his best man and Kessler only objective was to keep them safe from the "beast" but after Trish was killed that twisted Kessler into what he is today. Now think about what would happen if Cole never had Trish in his life, Cole will never marry her and become Kessler so this might mean that Cole without Trish could become evil and thus become the "beast".

Who knows the beast's back story but I can tell you this that Cole's life will go to hell. Not only did his best friend betray him, his love of his life die, but he will be hunted day and night by every government organization bent on using him as a weapon or dissecting him for his powers. This could turn a good person evil if pushed hard enough.

Despite liking the game quite a bit, I do hope that their next game is not an open world game at all. It's fun enough to climb and jump around a big city, but the more contained, narrow missions have so far been overwhelmingly superior to the rooftop bounce ones.

I have 147 shards for the Neon District. I hope there aren't any more because I spent the last hour and a half looking for more and can't find any. :/

I decided to find all shards for Neon before I started collecting in Warren, to try and make it a little more sane.

Is there a count on how many shards for the other two islands yet?

Nope, that's all of them.

But how did you manage 147 without the thrusters?

Anyways, theres:

147 in Neon
135 in Warren
68 in Historic District

By the end of Warren, you should have 282

I got the thrusters and went back to Neon, without collecting any shards in Warren.

And thank you VERY much for the counts. I will do the same for the other two islands, collect all 135 shards in Warren before collecting any in Historic. That should keep me from trying to find that last ONE shard and not knowing where on the three islands it could be.

Yep. It'll be a bit tough with the INSANE AI in Warren you'll encounter soon :lol

But it's well worth it. Looking back, I enjoyed searching for shards.

I've already noticed that the enemy difficulty went UP quite drastically in Warren.
Not only that, they are harder to see dressed in the white. The Reapers in red with white hoods made them easy targets, especially for head shots. Now it's hard to tell these trash guys apart from civilians, and they are TOUGH to boot.
I will just have to adapt and overcome. :D

Yep. That's the way. And then when the 3rd island comes, beg for mercy. :D

Killing 25 guys from the trains is HARD :( does it count if you do it from the slow-moving train during one of the three train missions? If so, I'll just wait till the Historical District [on my second playthrough, hard + evil, nested brackets check it] and keep failing that mission until I get the trophy.

I enjoyed having a bit of both. I wouldn't complain if they did what you suggest though.

Ugh just had the lamest freeze in the Historic District
Right after I finish defending all 3 electric stations the cut scene starts then bam, frozen. Got to do all that over again, at least lightning bolt is fun to destroy people with.

HOLYSHIT!!! I just came to say this... does the game autosave? Because I don't think it does. I've just played a marathon session - clearing the aldern tower, got the
lighting storm
and then when I played the save the patients GOOD QUEST, the game hangs. This is in the HISTORICT DISTRICT.

did I just lose 2 hours++ of gameplay?

:(

ARRRRGGGGHHhhh

lighting storm
is kick arse though.

I actually had a freeze a little before that as well.
Fighting Aldin on the destroyed bridge, I activated Karma overload and just continually fired Megawatt Hammers at him. He goes down for the first time and I die at the exact same time. Game hangs up and I had to redo it all
I think those are the only 2 out of 10 or 15 hours of gameplay. They were oddly close together though.

Really in love with this game. So much content, so much variety and it seems like I've barely cracked the surface. Sucks that it came out during exam time, though. D:
