Question to those with Platinum... How did you get "Heal 250 pedestrians" trophy? On my good playthrough save, I am sure I have healed way more than that, and I still havent gotten it... Did my game just break?

I might do it on my evil playthrough, but it gives me good karma, so I am not sure how to proceed.

Actually you automatically rank up to inFamous and can't rank down after you activate the Ray Sphere.

I say heal a bunch of people before then.

No, 250's just more than you think it is.

I'll do this if I dont get the trophy on my good playthrough after a few more hours.

Its possible. I guess i'll just keep healing people while running around getting blast shards

Also, I found three dustmen on the rooftop AFTER finishing my playthrough. Its in the Warren near the Trash Tower. Its the only place I have yet seen enemies on the rooftop after the story is over, and the only place where you have the opportunity of earning that "shockwave 3 enemies off a roof" stunt. I couldnt get it though, its tough to get them together. :-(

The gameplay on this really addicting but it has a lot to do with the theme as well.

I can't help but think that this type of interesting gameplay is exactly what they were trying to achieve with Assassin's Creed #1 (and failed to do).

Yeah had the same problem with trying to get them together, and then one threw a bomb which bounced back and killed him so i couldn't do it anyway.

Meh i'll do it on my Evil playthrough.

I have a question about taking over enemy territory.

I'm in the Warren,
I just beat Alden on top of the giant tower, there's still a little chunk of enemy territory near the history district, I'm pretty sure that I've done all the side missions thus far but I didn't see one for that section. Is it possible to miss taking over territory missions? Is it possible to do it later on? Right now I'm actually going across the bridge.

Kill enemies in the area. One will give you a hidden package mission when he dies.

They're hidden package missions. Run around those areas until a group of enemies spawns, kill the enemies, and one should start glowing side-mission yellow. :)

Thanks, I'm trying that now, I did one of those missions
near the docks/pear area at the very top of the map
are there 2? I'm talking about the area just south of the bridge

well, I was missing something like three or four areas after I finished the game, all hidden package missions, so yeah, probably

I found a group of about 5 or 6 reapers on a roof on the first island during a water tower side mission. But of course this is while the story is in progress.

I remember seeing some reapers. Not positive but I believe it was by the oscar-esque statue, building with the big circular sign, tallest in the area.

I just got into the Neon district... I think (hope) that I have gotten all the shards in the other two districts. I'll try that area thanks!

Is there some exact requirement to get a high fall that I'm missing? I've gotten quite a few of the trophies for thing like draining a certain amount of electricity and healing a certain amount of people just playing normaly, so I thought I might as well do the rest. The high fall one is one of three left, and while I've done plenty during the course of the game, now that I'm trying to get them on purpose it seems very hit-and-miss. Any tips?

It is hit and miss, unfortunately. :(

For those that are trying to get the Have a Nice Fall stunt (That includes me by the way), there's a tip here (Posted by someone from GAF I think). On heading back to Zeke's last night I also noticed a group of three Reapers if you head west from the track just north of Zeke's place (This is with Neon at 100%, but with the story still in progress).

My save is there at the moment, so I think I'm going to try and get this one when I get in later tonight.

I'm done with inFAMOUS.

345 shards out of 350, and 17 stunts out of 21. It wont tell me where the rest of the shards are, and the stunts which I havent done yet other than the shockwave 3 enemies one. Unless something like that Burnout Paradise save search is released, the good playthrough is gonna stand like this.

I'm gonna get em all by island on my evil playthrough.

You lucky you can do on your 2nd pt. I had to start a 3rd one despite having only one shard missing.

I'm now in the 349/350 shards club :( If the numbers posted earlier in the thread were correct, the last shard should definitely be on the last island, but I sure can't find it.

Hmm, maybe I won't bother then!

Boo...was going to play through as Evil, but the first bit is too samey and then I bought Ratchet and got Ghostbusters...so i might never go back :(

Did you get the one
on top of that huge building near ground zero
?

I'd recommend carrying on, if only for the variety in playstyle. Once you start to upgrade a few powers it's really liberating not having to care for trivial things like... innocent lives!

I'm a little way through the Warren on my evil/hard run and it arguably plays even better this time around. The bump in difficulty really makes you think about how you approach combat, and running along the ground is a shortcut to an early grave.

Ratchet is amazing, but unlike inFAMOUS, I dunno if you can play it for more than a couple of hours at a time. You'll be coming back to inFAMOUS, dont worry. They all do.

I did. You will too. :lol :lol

Unfortunately, yes!

First search on the outer edge of the map, shouldn't take you more than 15 minutes. Then split the buildings in blocks and search them one by one. Took my 1 hour to find them all.

edit
Just like this
2f07jaq.png

Just spam L3 and search them one by one.

Note to new players. Dont try to get all the stunts as soon as possible since there is one that can only be done when you get to island 3. I managed to get all 20/21 during 53% completion of Neon District(really early) and had to wait till I got to the 3rd island to get the last one which kinda sucked.

Stunts were really easy actually and at first I was fearing I would never get them all before beating the game. Boy was I wrong! So dont worry about the stunts at all. Worry about shards and getting enough XP to get all moves.

This is basically what I did last night. I'm doing the Warren at the moment and grabbing every shard I see as soon as I see it (And hitting L3 literally constantly), not sure if it'll serve me well or just make it harder when I come to get the last few.

It should be 282 at the end of the Warren, right (147+135)?

OMFG I just finished collecting the shards indicated in a map/guide (checking them off ONE by ONE as I got them) and I still have 3 left! 2 more missing shards compared to the status of my previous pt guide-free.

I have bad luck with this game. He doesn't want to be Platinum'ed .

The graphics jinxed you man. Jaggies + Not AA + Not 60 fps = TTP cant see the shards. :lol

If you check youtube there is a great video to get the shockwave 3 enemies area after you have completed the game. I don't have the direct link because I'm at work, but search for the name of the stunt on youtube and you should find it.

Also there are some tricky shards that won't show up by pressing L3 unless your at a certain height.

I got my platinum already and it did take some time.

I had the same thing, except a little bit later than you. Thought I'd never get that last power and stunt!

That's what I had, and it worked out perfectly.

The more I think about the game, the more I think that (end-game spoilers, not so much exact event spoilers, but I still wouldn't read them until you're done)
the game peaks from a dramatic viewpoint at the end of the second island. The whole climbing the giant structure in The Warren, then the fight on the top, followed by the whole foggy bridge set-piece and boss-fight, it all seemed way more climatic than the actual end-game against Kessler. Now don't get me wrong, I really loved the ending, and I'm not saying that I didn't enjoy it, but all the same, I find it interesting that the game panned out this way. I wonder if Sucker Punch realised that when they looked back on the game after completing it.

Just an observation.

Platinumed it last night. Yay! Too bad that at the end of a Hard run you still need to grind for so much exp. I drained enemies until one of them glitched out and became immobile/invincible, then nailed him with about ten thousand headshots over the course of half an hour so I could buy all the remaining abilities :lol

Fully agree. Not just when it comes to the story, but the missions after
the first one on the 3rd island) are a bit worse in the sense that they don't seem integral to pushing the storyline further.

I am truly loving this game, so addicting. However, my ONLY and I mean ONLY complaint is that Cole cannot die or get hurt from falling. It would have been nice to have at least some damage incurred by falling from tall heights, it would make the climbing more treacherous.

Other than that. Amazing game, I cannot wait to play more tonight. Multiplayer/Coop would be awesome for this too. I guess the sequel. :(

You might want to avoid Prototype, then :P

Uhh, what's up with this bus mission???

?

um

either

a) climb a tall building and fly down into the roof zone

b) run to the side of the bus and keep jumping, Cole will hop on, if you survive that is...

(then zap the controller on the side) - you have to be on the roof of the bus.

One shard missing? Did you check to the east of Zeck's apartment near the ocean? You should see a wharf that's wrecked and it's struts sticking out of the water. There is a shard on the last strut.

Yeah, I got that feeling too, although I wasn't too fussed right off the bat to have a slight change of pace. My issue really started once I got to the final mission.
I was expecting the intensity to be like most movies or games, in that if you were drawing it on a graph, there would be spikes every now and then gradually getting bigger until you finally get to the biggest spike: the game's climax. In Infamous' case, after playing the first two islands, I was thinking: okay, this is awesome. The Neon District ended on a high, then The Warren ended on an even greater high, I can't wait to see how The Historic District, the final district, was going to top it. And then I got to the final mission and the Ray Sphere was just dropped on some small dock in the middle of nowhere, and the final battle was like a mix of fighting Sacha and a Conduit but with a huge health bar. The final story revelations were great, but from a gameplay standpoint, it fell short.

And for the record, it might seem like I'm down on the game, but I'm really not. Hell, despite my complaints with the final section, I still had a blast playing it. I just think that this is an interesting discussion to have, and something that Sucker Punch, if they read this, should be aware of when they begin production on the sequel. In my opinion, for what it's worth, anyway. :)

Someone please tell me
that there isn't a shard at the place where we fight the first boss ... because i can't come back there :((
