Don't know if this has been mentioned but...
After you escape ground zero, you collapse and are unconscious for a while. Cole then tells you that Zeke was always there, somehow sure that you'd pull through. Obviously this could be put down to his attitude in general, but it could it also meant that he knew what was going on?
Even the people who knew what was going on weren't sure you'd pull through. That's why Kessler checks up on you at the blast zone at the start.

Does the weather change in this game? Doesn't matter if it's dynamic or not.

The weather changes per days. It's scripted. You have (I think) 4 or 5 days in the game (going on with the story) and each one as a different weather (but it's more like sunny/cloudy/dawn/dusk) and the final day (when you beat the game and start free roaming) is either very sunny with blue sky (if you are good) or very cloudy with stormy red sky (evil)

Yes. Does you're save file actually say 100%?
My second run through (hard/Infamous) shows at 100%. This is the run that I collected everything on, but I still didn't update all powers completely, only those that I needed for the 'Truly Evil' trophy.

Are there ramifications if you do not go 100% good or evil? I have been almost all good, I think I did one evil karma action before today but I was half asleep and did another this morning and I do not want to redo the mission

chasing down fucking helicopter to get James, thought if I shot at the golem it wouldn't make the gas tank go off

I am already hero rank

The story missions are great and not repetitive at all.

Only the side missions can be a bit repetitive. But I loved doing the good and especially the evil side missions.

The only missions I didn't like were the building surveillance missions.

i'm on the second island now and i think they've added enough submission types to keep the variety up. I'll agree with Second and say that the surveillance jobs can get tedious after a while, especially because they always take longer to complete than you'd think.
But aside from that I'm always looking to work away the yellow dots after a story mission, which is a good sign.

I just ordered this game, and I already know I'm going to want to have all Blast Shards... What's the consensus on this map? I read in this thread that some were missing at one point, but is it 100% complete now? If not, what do you people use as a reference? Thanks.

Use this :)

Edit: Posted below by luxarific, this map is actually missing 8 shards

When shard hunting make sure to do them in sections, block by block. It's easier and you can check off a block when you're finished with it.

First island 47 but one is hard to get by the coast, you can get it but I just waited for the hover ability.

By the end of the second island you should have 282 total.

The last is 350 of course.

Do it all like this and you won't go through the pain some of these posters went through. Searching all 3 island for 1 shard.

Ugh I can't get my last stunt "Right back at ya" =[. Help!

Find someone with a grenade launcher in Warren. Don't waste your time with random-hand grenade-tossing enemies.

You should be okay, but in that mission...you really have to "do nothing" until the karma decision is made.

lol, I know. I was working out on the bike and half asleep. I just really don't want to have to repeat the damn mission.

Of course the mission might have seemed harder because I was half asleep.....

thx

Oh are those rocket launchers actually grenade launchers?
There are grenade launchers in the game as well. The mission where you rescue
Zeke
from the storage yard has two that just constantly spam grenades at you, I got mine there.

Also the probes you see in the Historic District launch grenades, but they might be a little more difficult because they're not ground based enemies.

Probably posted many many times, but is there a way to check what stunts I haven't done?
Nope, the only one you'll ever see is the next one you haven't completed yet (Even if you've done several that are later stunts).

I'm guessing you mean the one that shows up at the bottom of the screen when you pause the game?

Better than nothing, I guess!

Not really, no. You just won't be able to access one particularly ability that requires 100%.

crap! I did an evil action a while ago where I accidentally killed some pedestrians and I did not have time to redo the long sequence. I figured I could recoop if it was only once : (

That won't hurt you in the long run.
If you do all good sidemissions and generally act good as a whole, you can still get all the good upgrades.

Just beat the game on "good" side. Bravo Sucker Punch!

That was great and the story really delivered!
I was completely sucked into the gameplay and story. Two thumbs up from me.

I, unfortunately, was not very diligent on hunting for shards but I think an evil run will work much better for gathering all of them. Particularly since I plan to decimate large portions of the city along the way.

So I completed my evil run, 100% on side missions, and I'm 2k exp shy of the last evil upgrade for the trophy. Is there any good way to grind out the last 2k experience points? There's got to be a better way than doing the Unquenchable Thirst stunt over and over again for 7 exp a pop.

Did you guys create a new save for your second play through or did you just save over your good play through save?

I'm about an hour into the game (just finished the third mission, I think) and I've been playing good so far. Is it too late to switch to evil and still get all of the powers?

My tentative plan if I get into that spot is to run around and melee pedestrians. I think you should get Flying Melees frequently enough to grind your way up pretty quickly.

If you've done any of the Good side missions (which specifically state that an Evil side mission has been locked out upon completion), it's too late. Otherwise you should be fine.

New save so I can have one good and one evil. There's no point to overwriting the other one really.

Cool, just wanted to be sure i wasn't going to fuck it up somehow.

Beat it as a Hero just a little while ago. Have 4 shards left till I get all of them, so blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Not sure if I wanna tear my hair out going to find all of them. Started an Evil run.

Pretty fun stuff.

Just finished the game then for the first time, i played as good.

Bit of a lol ending. Certainly cant wait for the sequal though.

Great game.

Fuck yeah, got my last shard.

Was in the little Fort above the Underground Entrance to the Warren :lol

Now I can continue to enjoy the story and get back to the missions (also finally managed to take over 100% of the Warren, damn those Hidden Treasure missions)

Found it. Northwest corner of the Warren. Of course, the last place I looked. :lol

And yeah, anyone having trouble with their last few shards, I can't stress enough how important it is to super-ultra-double-check every one on the coasts. Can't believe how unbelievably easy it is to miss any of those.

Paipai congratz.

Got all the shards! That was awful when I was down to just 3 or 4. The evil side is ok... I expected it to be a little more different on the story side, but it's fine. Hoping to wrap it up 100% trophies and all, because my PS3 is teetering on the edge here, I dunno how easy it is to pick up where you left off with trophies.

Anyways all I really need is stunt master, so how the hell did you guys get right back at ya? it's ridiculous.

bit of a problem here... I'm on the third island now and there's one area in the second island that isn't cleared of Dustman activity. Thing is, the yellow dot won't appear to do the mission. I've been there and wandered around, hoping it might appear. I even quit and reloaded, but to no avail. Can I get that mission to appear again or am I screwed?

Is it on the bottom of the map?

If so it's a shard hunting mission that requires killing a dustman to activate.

It's probably a hidden package mission. Kill any enemies in the area. If there are none there, they should eventually show up.

it's north east, top right of the map. ah but that may be the solution... I'll go back there and kill some enemies.

I officially beat the game on the side of good. I gotta say, the story was pretty great.
the ending was unexpected, cole being kessler and all. I also appreciate the obvious kick-off to the sequel. I really have no doubts that Infamous 2 is in some kind of pre-production at the very least.
I just have to collect about 50ish shards, and do about 5 more stunts. And of course play through on Evil, which I can't wait for as I'll actually be able to use thunder drop. :)

Easily one of the most original games I've ever played. The music, the story, the gameplay. All of it makes it quite literally one of the best games I've played... ever. Also - awesome credits. Music was perfect for the end... made it feel like a movie.

No one should miss this game.

I honestly cannot wait for a sequel.
