Looking at the Chapter 1 spoilers from the story mode it looks like they fuck over the comic.

Yeah, every way you look at it something from the comics is retconned.

Well, I'm excited about the costume combinations for visual purposes only.

I still believe there's going to be some sort of monetization. Everything is sounding too good to be true. Real-money loot crates are the worst. It's glorified gambling. If they're going to offer paid options for stuff, at least let people buy exactly what they want.

I'm waiting for the I2 version of the Boon "the PC version is just as good as consoles" Angry Joe interview gif. Boon said no "pay to win" in a stream and people were holding his word as gospel and claiming "no microtransactions" after that recent video which never technically ruled out some sort of currency purchase option. I'm expecting them to find some explanation loophole.

I'm happy to be proven wrong, though.

Everyone looked really good in this. Green Lantern looks fantastic, massive improvement over IGAU. Green Arrow and Flash looked great as well. Bane doesn't look like a giant dumb pile of steroids which is great. Couldn't see much of Captain Cold so can't say much really.

To be fair, those final characters were leaked by those who got the first game early. Perhaps NRS wants to get the reveals done sooner to prevent the same situation from happening again.

I doubt it's that big, but a part of me still thinks there's something to the official site's original roster count of 31. The person in charge just keeps adding new characters instead of replacing the locked boxes.

According to the story, Hal was rehabilitated by Guardians after the first game and allowed to become a GL again and defected from the regime like Barry. Harley is still partially responsible for the nuking of Metropolis and the murder of Lois and Jimmy which drove Superman nuts and kicked off the events of Injustice in the first place.

Not to mention Harley has done the pretty bad things in the comics such has threatening to kill Billy Batson's friends.

Harleys super power is that people completely ignore all the evil shit she does.

It really is, she's been with Joker for years and has gladly done all his orders no matter how heinous.
