The bullshit with Goro is why they are doing it again.

Hope Darksied is more developed then Goro though, who felt like a boring after thought of a character.

He might look different in fights vs cutscenes in story mode so we see his normal guy with a bag on his head before the fight and a crazy hobo demon during the fight.
Haha, I think the lab coat and pants. Thing is he is listed as a metahuman in the mobile game so I don't think it's like his form without fear gas, but something else. Maybe he dies in story mode and gets resurrected...? Or something. Who knows.
Btw, Tyler Lansdown used the hashtag #keepittight regarding the reveal on Monday. Any significance to that I wonder?
Scarecrow already died in the comic.

Rumors are flying that Scarecrow in this game will be the avatar of The Rot, natural enemy to The Green--aka Swamp Thing. I think it would ret-con Scarecrow's death in a cool way.
Also, #keepittight? No clue that that could mean.
He did but there is a huge oversight as Crane appeared alive in one of the far later issues/yearlies. I think it had to do with a change in writers and the writer was unaware of him getting killed off in the beginning haha.
Also I'm worried about things getting retconned in the IJ2 story mode from the comic as I like the continuity in the series between the two. Apparently there's already a small oversight with this in chapter one of IJ2's story mode.
EDIT: I guess "keep it tight" is an Xavier Woods catch phrase so nothing to do with Injustice awww. I think we'll get Black Adam though since the Rock is playing him and it makes sense you'd reveal that character on a wrestlers YouTube show.

It definitely looks as though Scarecrow is the Avatar, or a Champion at least, of the Rot. From his new metahuman status to his corpse like appearance. I posted this theory earlier in the thread but I hope we see a Scarecrow and Swamp Thing confrontation, not unlike their first encounter in the comics.

Well I guess the question we need to ask ourselves is how many Batman characters have they got left to jam down our throats.

I hope they throw up an actual gameplay trailer. No offense to the UUDD crew as they seem genuinely excited but man that video was lackluster lol. They showed a projectile, an unexplained millisecond of his trait and his super. I want more damnit!!!

Yea, the character design looks good, but he looks very lackluster in terms of movement and fluidity from what little was shown. Not a very good reveal. To be fair, Canary didn't look all that exciting, but I ended up liking her a lot, so hopefully he gets a better showing soon. Also Dr. Fate didn't look as interesting in that video as his reveal one too, so it might not be enough to judge fairly.
.Guess I'm out of touch, as I could barely take all the goofy yelling and posturing to the camera leading up to the character reveal. The interview part was fine, but that hammy stuff was hard for me to watch. I liked the guy outside the office door waiting for them to finish though.
Yeah this 100% confirms they are not getting a Cavill premium skin (outside of costume).
They went out of their way to completely alter their Superman to make him look like a double of Cavill with minor differences (to avoid having to pay the rights).

Theres so many DC characters but so limited space time and money. I am in that camp that would vastly prefer premier skins be used to add as many interesting characters as possible, even if they do not particularly fit with their overlay.
So with that in mind, here's some shit I thought of for premier skins
1. Superman -> Bizarro
Blue heat vision, red freeze breath, funny dialogue. The most obvious choice is the best one.
2. Batman -> Batman Beyond
There could be many great Batman premier skins, but Terry McGinnis is my most wanted. Him being from the future and his dialogue reflecting that canonically could be awesome. Maybe he could tease a bit of Injustice 3....?
3. Wonder Woman -> Grail or Donna Troy
If DC Comics really intends to make Grail the next big thing then go ahead, otherwise Donna Troy is a safe pick.
4. Aquaman -> Orm
Like Superman: obvious = best. Orm is a pretty baller character and no one fits Arthur more.
5. Dr. Fate -> The Spectre
I thought of this before Fate was even revealed and having seen his gameplay now, it fits perfectly. With all the grit and grimness of Injustice who better to shine light on the sinners than the scales of justice incarnate?
6. Green Arrow -> Arsenal
This is one for the Young Justice fans out there. I'd enjoy it just for the metal arm and drug problems.
7. Deadshot -> Deathstroke
A tough fit but a fair one. Slade would have stolen Floyd's wrist-guns for this skin to work. The giant rifle helps.
8. Braniac -> Lex Luthor
Braniac in this game is a bald green guy in a techno suit. Make his skin white and you're done. Luthor has toyed around with Braniac tech in the comics and cartoons before.
9. Gorilla Grodd -> Ultra Humanite
Gorilla Grodd bbut a douchebag and not actually a gorilla surprise.
10. Black Adam -> Shazam
Tragic but necessary.

The above 10 are simple swaps. But here I get into more controversial options.
11. Robin -> Katana
If you examine Robin, you'll see he is actually shorter and thinner than the other characters due to his age. A male/female swap would actually function.
12. Swamp Thing -> Clayface
Clones, summoning, morphing - both of them have it. With tiny extra effort, branches and flowers can be clay spikes and bludgeons in order to add an awesome villain.
13. Black Canary -> Batwoman (Kane)
Don't freak out. Bats have sonar. Imagine Wayne Industries invented a sonar attack weapon for Batwoman to use in battle. Like I said at the top, if we push past creative limits the roster could be anything
14. Poison Ivy -> Killer Frost
Add the frosty ice motif/tint over Ivy's plant summons and you have KF back in the game. Sure she's never given life to ice creatures before but stranger things have happened. Elsa much
15. Cheetah -> Vixen
The totem power gives Vixen her animal avatar abilities. When she jumps as high as Cheetah, put the hawk totem behind her. When she hits as hard, put an elephant behind her. When she runs as fast, put the ...cheetah totem behind her.
16. Atrocitus -> Etrigan
Etrigan's summons unholy weapons and magics like Atrocitus' constructs. Add a little imp (or Klarion's cat) to replace Dexxstar then you've got a phenomenal premier skin of a phenomenal character. Barfing fire!
17. Bane -> Killer Croc
If Bane can really grow in size through his trait, then have Croc mutate larger for his mirrored version. That'd be a hell of a unique visual ability.
18. Joker -> Riddler
Last one and one I'm shakiest on. Editing in the green/purple colors and ? motifs on Joker's toys might not be enough.
So with that in mind, here's some shit I thought of for premier skins

I think we will probably get the 3 from the ultimate edition, 3 from the base game, and maybe 2 as DLC down the road.
NRS is really weird about DLC.
They simply don't do enough of it, they make a handful of costumes and then give up, despite there always being an audience for more.
They leave money on the table when it counts, and instead do dumb shit like pre order DLC.

I like the idea of Donna and Cassie as premier skins for WW. Grail would be too, though I'd prefer Superwoman of the Crime Syndicate.
There should be premier skins for the entire Crime Syndicate: Ultraman for Supes, Owlman for Bats, Power Ring for Hal (he'd be interesting because he's a coward), Johnny Quick for Flash, Deathstorm for Firestorm, Sea King for Aquadouche, and Grid for Cyborg.
I like the idea of Ultra-Humanite for Grodd, Orm for Arthur, Spectre for Fate, Etrigan for Atrocitus and Arsenal for Oliver as well.
Still not keen on on Bizarro for Supes...There's a lot more potential for him as a dumb lumbering brute vs skin for Supes. However, if that's his only chance, I'll take it.

It really isn't. Shazam is gone, and making him a Black Adam swap cheapens both characters.
This is me speaking generally on the subject, not really targeted to any specific poster but a lot of what I've seen around Injustice 2 discussions... I hope to God they don't go crazy with these character swaps. Some of them work, but others go way too far and come off like cheap PC mods. I've even seen it suggested that Sinestro be a swap for Scarecrow of all characters. By the end of this game's lifespan we should honestly just have 8 of these tops.
Here's the thing, the swaps need to make sense for the characters for them to work. Shazam fighting in Black Adam's smug, king-like stance wouldn't fit the character and would look wrong. Sinestro using the ring just like Hal wouldn't fit his more fear based, sharp/angular constructs and approach to fighting. Something like Orm as Aquaman? That's brilliant since Aquaman already fights with an Orm moveset anyways. Bizarro Supes is a no-brainer too. Deathstroke and Lex Luthor as swaps though? No way in hell. Not after we've seen what these guys could do on their own terms.
That would be cool if they got Hamill, since he's back in the gig.
Speaking of the Joker, I wonder if they're going to pull--there are Three Jokers thing as a way to bring him back into the story lol.
