That's lucky man. I'm worried I might use up my luck playing the beta and then find only trash in the retail version. I still haven't found a shader yet though.

I FINALLY unlocked a shader just now, so don't feel too bad! Not sure if matters but my blue beetle is level 16, finally got the gold armor shader. I was playing against Batman and holy shit that parry reversals everything

The white gold shader? I saw it on YouTube last night; it looks sick. Batman's parry is an incredibly effective reversal, but it's not so fun when you're on the receiving end.

Yeah that's the one. It's called "galactic midnight" I believe. He was parrying my shield bash, my d3 sweeps, etc. I was too tired to effectively analyze the situation and was quickly destroyed haha. I'm hoping we get the trailer through Ed Boon instead of IGN because if in that case we might get it in 3 hours!
I'm expecting 3 females for DLC. It makes the roster 1/4 female as per NRS' usual. I'm guessing Starfire will be first to give us four heroes and four villains. And after that we'll get a non-white character, either Katana or Vixen. And the female villain is up in the air to me. Queen Bee? Circe? Terra? Enchantress?

It is strange that Ivy has been announced but not revealed. Her femme fatale status lends itself well to a Valentine's Day reveal. Maybe it's time for us to see her in action.

She's a newcomer though. The newcomers have been revealed with gameplay footage in various trailers. Yes there are other characters on the website, including Bane, who haven't been seen, but Bane and the other characters are returning veterans. We already have some idea of their move list, but we know nothing about Ivy's abilities or play style.

Well Poison Ivy getting Killer Frost's victory animation with the summoned throne means that Frost is very likely gone for good.
Mostly veteran characters, honestly. There's not too many newcomers that are left - Captain Cold/Mr. Freeze, Scarecrow, Dr. Fate, Firestorm I think are the only ones left. I guess Brainiac if you count gameplay as well.

Cheetah is an interesting case where she has gone from "woman in a cheap cheetah costume out of a shop", "cheetah on two legs", "orange catwoman", "furry bait", "orange woman with a tail and dagger" etc to the current Rebirth version:
