Are they using black magic to make this game? The animations are top notch, the faces, sounds, the super moves are freaking awesome, level transitions.
I didn't care for the first game but it seems they stepped up big time and this looks so good.

Man I kind of got pissed in the Girls thread
It never bothered me people saying Stiff and complain about the faces.
But I highly believe some of them have their minds made up before even seen footage so if one face is not as clean as the rest then they get their little "lol NRS" drive bys in

Also, the mobile game isn't using default outfits for everybody. I don't think "defaults" matter anyway considering the gear system in place

Whether the mobile game is using the default costumes or not, the models look fantastic and I can't wait to see their console counterparts.
I'm guessing there will be cross-unlocks again.
I will, they'll lock some gear behind it and because my console is the one usually used for local tournaments for NRS games I like to have as much unlocked as possible. My friend/training partner got spoiled because my console was the only one with all the Kitana costumes and others didn't bother unlocking the mobile game costumes.

Just created an appropriate iTunes account in order to download the new mobile game. I'll post with significant findings, such as cross platform unlocks.
I have a friend who'll do all the mobile grindy stuff for me, I have absolutely no patience for it.
It kind of resembles musculature.

Mirror master would've worked so much better with Quan's portals. He'll probably get a huge rework as Blue Beetle hit a lot of what he did.

You can change it so that a simple button press takes the screenshot.
I've done that, but it still technically takes the shot like a second after you press the button, doesn't it? Annoying when you're trying to get something really precise.
Not really. It takes it when you press it, but the notification is a bit delayed. In theory.

I posted earlier that NRS need to draw on the New 52/DC Rebirth version of Cyborg and tap into his new powers. A teleport based on his Mother Box tech would give him a lot more utility.

After a little time with the mobile game, I think I can safely say there is no WBID option to be found. It's possible it might be added in a later update, closer to the launch of the console version. It's also somewhat buggy. The sound has dropped out on a number of occasions and the intro cutscene skips every time I load up the game.
Good grief. How tall is Scarecrow? If he stood upright, he'd be about 7 feet tall or something.
I wonder if the mobile versions are just the "base" characters, as I imagine Scarecrow in particular would benefit from the addition of gas masks, hoods, hats, and other creepy attire.

You can ride announcement hype for months with just tidbits of info. I'd say people are more hype this past month than any other period including the announcement.
