This all makes sense to me and I'd be surprised if it wasn't basically the line-up. That said, here's hoping the DLC brings some more women into the game as it's a little light as is.

Do you mean Yellow Lantern Scarecrow, or Sinestro as a Scarecrow alt? The former would be awesome. The latter wouldn't make sense.

I don't think Mr. Freeze will be his own character considering how many Batman characters are already in the game.

I'm 99.99% certain that Mr. Freeze is a premier costume. I don't know if Batman & Robin is to blame where people think of Freeze as a big hulking monster with a massive ice cannon, but he's typically depicted as a regular sized person with a smaller gun like Captain Cold. He'd make a ton of sense as a Cold alt.
Also, I feel like Scarecrow is going to win people over once we see his gameplay. He has so much potential in a fighting game.

I personally love Scarecrow. The whole fear toxin thing has tons of potential for sure, it'd be really cool if he has a move that changes the appearance of himself and the stage (which should be a form change with slightly different moves).
And if they needed a weapon, they could use the occasions where he wielded a scythe, though I doubt they'll go that route.

Here's how he looked/looks in Gotham:
First version looks pretty much exactly like Captain Cold.
Tournament results are unviable to gauge a character's placement on tiers. Sonya was a top 3 character in MK9 and never won a major (unless you count the EVO where MK9 was a side tournament), Zod was a top 5 character in Injustice and never won a major. Shazam was mid-low tier and won a major. It goes on.

Awesome to see premier costumes, really opens up the avenue for a lot of characters. I'm guessing Shazam will be Adam's.
So 9 dlc characters, I can almost bet that red hood will be a dlc character if he doesn't make it into base. Worst case is a premier costume for deadshot.
Does anyone have the poll results available? I'm hoping etrigan will be a dlc character, same with beast boy.
I'm pretty pumped right now, ready to plop down for the ultimate edition. Can't wait for Tom Taylor's comic either.

It seems unlikely that existing Injustice characters with established play styles would be made into alternate costumes. There's an overly villainous, dictatorial air to Black Adam's animations (crossed arm stance, etc.) that wouldn't work with Shazam.

I wonder how the Power Girl is going to work as an alternate costume for Supergirl since Power Girl is usually seen as being noticeably taller than her other earth's counterpart..
Not that I think Shazam should be an alt, but it would be kind of cool if the premium skins altered small things like idle animations.
Power Girl's "official" height is 5'7", and I believe Supergirl's given height is either 5'5" or 5'7".

Victory animations - if they are present in IJ2 - will probably be different at least. They did the same for some of the alt costumes in IJ1 as well.
As for Shazam, yeah he wouldn't work as Black Adam costume. Black Adam's really brutal and regal looking with his animations, not only the idle one.

eh, never say never since Zoom is going to be flash's premier skin. Idle animations aren't too bad to alter, I'd be more worried about move animations. Shaz could end up as dlc but I feel like he wouldn't sell that well, then again Zatanna, Lobo & Zod ended up in IJ1 and I don't think they're much more (if any) popular than Shazam.
She would be easy for NRS to model, that's for sure.
Flash has really neutral animations that work just fine for Zoom, whereas a villainous Shazam would just look wrong.
I agree. There's a regal arrogance and brutalness from Black Adam that would not translate well to Shazam.

Um.. $99.95 USD converts to roughly $133 AUD. It's hardly overpriced. Especially when the US price doesn't include tax. $139.95 for the base game, plus 9 DLC characters and 3 premier costumes is a fair asking price.

Even though I'm 99% sure the zoom will be based on Thawne I'd love it to be based on Zolomon with a vhs tracking effect on him.
Zolomon was the superior Zoom in my eyes.

1.Is the Injustice site counting premium skins as seperate characters (I fear this)
2.. Is it counting the first 3 DLC as characters already (doubtful)
3.from those leaked chars that have not being revealed, how they we know they are not Skins or just story specific characters like Baraka or Rain as the mobile game could still have these as characters while the game does not.
The thought that gives me hope counting DLC 40 is such a nice number.
But to join in the fun I'm guessing Lex, Starfire and Beastboy

Melissa Benoist is 5'8".
I doubt the first two options because the website has a description for each character showing their significance to the story, premiere skins and DLC will likely not be a part of the story.
I hope the reason they haven't shown Flash yet is because they are still working on him and are going to significantly overhaul his animations.
In the first game he had such goofy looking attacks, I couldn't stand playing as him.
Also I hope they find a way to implement RF's hand phase, even if it's just an alternate throw animation.

She's actively trying to find him and bust him out. Plus, she's pretty much fully on Superman's side in the comics. I don't get a sense of wavering in that conviction at all. Could that change in the actual I2 story? Sure, but it's unlikely.
