I found it interesting that Superman mentions that
all the Robins are gone. There's a panel depicting Jason Todd's usual fate at the hands of the Joker. But I wonder what happens to Tim Drake in the Injustice-verse.

To be fair in the Injustice Universe they have to scrap the bottom of the barrel since people get killed all the time.
Amanda isnt picky. But yeah thats funny to see.
Honest question: what would Starfire even do in a fighting game? She seems like such a bland, superfluous character to me. All she does is shoot energy from her hands, which characters like Firestorm and Green Lantern already do in many different ways. We're realistically only going to get one or two female DLC characters, and I'd much rather have someone like Mera with a completely unique set of abilities.

If they can make a character out of someone like the Joker, then I don't think they'll have too much trouble with Starfire. Maybe make aerial superiority a part of her archetype.
Joker is there because has to be, though i wonder what can Star do that Supergirl and Firestorm don't already add

If Starfire does get added, I see NRS giving her a flight gimmick, like Spectral Ermac from MKX.
Just like with the possibility of Red Hood, I trust NRS to make Starfire into a mechanically fun fighting game character if she does get added.

Id rather Raven come back then SF, but sadly Robert Zdar passed away and there is no suitable model to scan for her face.
Id rather have a Star Sapphire for female laser blaster representation.

There are actually a crap load of female characters I would rather have over Starfire and VIxen, but that's what were probably going to get.

Starfire is by far the most boring of the core Teen Titans, and her sex appeal is obviously the source of her popularity. Shes neither an important DC character or an inherently unique one, so I just dont see the point of adding her. There are far more interesting female options.

You know that was one thing I didn't like about the first Injustice. It's probably not NRS's "cup of tea", but I had hoped flight would've just been a mechanic. I felt it was really goofy that Hawkgirl's trait was her flight, in a game full of characters that could fly. Though, I'm doubting NRS wants to attempt to balance that with the characters that can't fly/hover/glide/etc, which would be a shame since that would definitely make a lot of characters feel more superhero-y and less like Mortal Kombat characters.
Also, it's really easy to make a Joker moveset. He's got tons of iconic weapons and gadgets, in fact, the first game didn't even achieve his full potential.

They could still recreate his iconic face for Raven.
Imagine a DLC Pack with Raven and Guest Character Maniac Cop.

Batwoman is my unrealistic expectation for a DLC character.
Vixen is my somewhat realistic expectation for a DLC character. I hope she makes it in.

95% chance that if it does, then it's single player only.
There are stat modifiers that gears pieces can have that are along the lines of xx% extra damage to Kryptonians.
So yes kind of, but now because of the actual kryptonite.

Can't give guesses for the full 9 as there's simply too many to choose from.
I think Sub-Zero will make it in as a guest character along with Spawn. Vixen and Red-Hood will be 2 of the standard characters if I had to guess. I'd also love to see Booster Gold but that's really unlikely.
Also unrelated but I just realized that Merlyn and Red Arrow could DEFINITELY make it in as Premium Skins. Both are similar enough to Green Arrow that the lack of moveset change doesn't matter much, and they both can fit in terms of hitbox.

Static would be cool and there's definitely precedence for him.
But you can never tell with Netherrealm. This is a company that put in popular characters in their story mode with a proper model and voice acting and didn't include them as a fighter even though other characters did make it in.

I've been tying to keep up with the reveals but I may have missed it. Did Beast Boy get released or has he at least been confirmed? I remember him being mentioned but not sure if it was confirmed. That would be an incredible character design for a fighting game.

No, none of the DLC characters have been confirmed. There's a character reveal planned for 28 April which will be the final character for the base roster. Any character reveal after that will be for the DLC and they've said that they'll announce SOME of the DLC characters before the game releases.

I originally thought Sub-Zero wouldn't be included, just because of Captain Cold. Having seen how different Captain Cold is from what Sub-Zero would be does make Sub-Zero a more likely candidate, since Sub-Zero and Captain Cold would be different.
That said, I think Raiden or Johnny Cage will be the MK guest character.
I really wish they fixed Superman's intro.
It was perfectly fine and some artistic savant decided to alter his pose and change the way he stares before talking and it looked so dumb. (especially since he already looks at the enemy after he lands as he always did....and when it cuts back to him he now stares at the void)
That's super nitpicky but it's gonna drive me mad after playing the beta for dozen of hours where it was fine.
