Injustice 2 Roster Discussion & Speculation Thread

I'm really surprised Spawn seems to be a no-show. I was actually getting excited for him. He would have been cool visually, but maybe the cape and chains were too much for NR to handle in terms of animation :P
 
Starfire looks cool, Red Hood's default outfit looks kinda bland (I guess cooler jackets and hoods will come with gear), and Subzero looks like Subzero...

Where's Nightwing? D:
 
None of those look like Constantine and two MK reps. Sad!

Black Manta is awesome, when I saw his model got an "upgrade" (mask is downgrade) I knew he was a lock. I assume the traditional mask is a choice. Starfire looks better than I expected, not a tragedy like Raven. Red Hood's hood is a bit questionable like the new Manta one, but again we'll be able to change it. I assume he'll get an Arkham Knight outfit too.

Not having Constantine would be pretty shitty since he was always top of the polls just like Starfire and Red Hood.

I'm just as surprised. I thought he was a safe bet.
 
I'm happy for those who've been asking for Red Hood and Starfire for so long and want to try em myself but seeing the Raiden silhouette just makes me unhappy. So many DC or even other comic characters to choose yet they go with 2 from their other IP... hella disappointing.
 
I so called there being two MK characters. Seemed obvious from what Boon had been saying about the success of Scorpion in IJ1.

Even though I knew this would be the case, I wish the packs weren't, well, packs. I don't want Raiden, Sub-Zero or Spawn. I like in SFV that I can avoid buying characters I don't want entirely.
 
Static's issues should be resolved given his Icons Figure was finally released and his television show was just released on DVD end it's second season was confirmed for release soon as well.

It's possible though, that Raiden started as Static and they switched over to Raiden before all of that was resolved. So Raiden has Static as a base.

Raiden is the biggest disappointment of the Season Pass, even without knowing the identity of the remaining characters. There's simply no need for more than one MK rep. I am also somewhat disappointed with only two new female characters, though the male:female ratio is sadly on par with my expectations.

To be honest, I'm not interested in the MK characters at all. The game never was my cup of tea. (Because auf the character designs and extreme violence.) Getting two MK characters, maybe even 3 as some think, is imo way too many and takes away good spots for other characters and guest characters.
 
I think the female character on the right could be Cheshire. The outline matches up to what she would look like, and like Red Hood, Azrael and Starfire she feels like a very NRS-type character.
 
The female silhouette looked like it has claws but I think I see a side weapon. Hoping for Vixen or Katana. Also hoping for 2018 DLC characters, because...yeah.
 
Not feeling Subs injustice default gear, too similar to Scorpion's. (Which was the point surely) I hope he has a bunch of shit from previous games. Might be tempted then.
 
Been lurking in here awhile as I was deciding whether I wanted to get this at launch, love playing Batman and Flash in the first game and NRS does SP content right (and they've improved every game since MK9). Gear system had me afraid, but now I think I really like it in addition to how the Multiverse mode looks. Living towers kept me in MKX for awhile, could see that being even better here.

A second Season Pass would likely have more Guest Characters. :/

I agree that it looks like the female silhouette might have a weapon, like a stake or sword. Katana would be a great choice. I'd be happy with her inclusion.

For real. If i wanted to play Raiden, Sub-Zero or Scorpion i'd play MK... one character? Okay, fine. But 2 is already too much. But apparently they sell reeeeally well :/

Dont be afraid of gear, in Multiverse it's just going to be a RPG-kind of mode, for Ranked it's character customization, and everywhere else you can turn stats off. It's not that bad really :P
 
Starfire looks so good. Just need Hynden Walch to do the voice and I'm set.

Constantine seemingly not being in the teased line-up is bumming me out, though.

Can't blame them when the guest characters are usually the best sellers, but yeah I wish all the characters were from comics. Would have loved a guest character like invincible instead of someone from mk.

Oh yeah, I know. I'm excited for that kind of personalization. Excited to see how Multiverse pans out with it, SP-wise.

Hey you never know, that could be Ares bulky ass on the right, to the left of Raiden lol. That would only make the whole ordeal even worse.

Despite obviously having Sub Zero and Raiden, look on the bright side everyone:
We are still getting 7 other supposedly highly requested DLC characters. If one of those isn't Constantine though ugh... Maybe we should look at the beginning of the biggest again for hints? The Trident obviously represents Manta, right? Same with batarangs and Red Hood? :/
