Well, those bands finally got wise and started doing that on their own. The problem? I see them use their music to make the stupidest of shorts, like cutting a sandwich in half... Youtube is so cooked. We need an alternative where they curate the garbage.

What's even sadder is that this is by design with youtube. They don't care about garbage content, they only care about engagement, and most potential to shove ads down people's throat. Oh, but gotta make sure it's "Family friendly" now...can't have swear words in the first few minutes, otherwise you might get demonetized!

Also, they punish Youtubers for not censoring the shit out of their videos. Everything is essentially fucking rated G/PG. I would take an up and coming competitor that doesn't censor anything and take the ads, too. But, here we are... and while they are competitors, no one really does come close.
So, angry opinions going right into the ether.

Half my subs are on this thing. 2 of them have some kind of problem with Youtube circumventing their monetary gains through nefarious means.
I don't want to do politics, here... but look into Youtube/Google being pro CCP.

From a technical/programming stand-point; this could have been an interesting video. But it's ruined by this "look at me, I'm so wacky!" moron and the idiotic presentation.
