Written out in Latin letters?

yeah, saw that a few times. i was also a bit baffled, until i asked a japanese friend of mine.

he wasnt sure about that either and asked some of his otaku friends in osaka.

its really interesting to see how different internet language can be in different countries. and of course it changes over time, though some countries have more stuff than other.

In Turkey most people in real life end sentences with "amina koyim", which literally means "I fuck your pussy". Like, " It's very hot today, I fuck your pussy". Means something like "damn". Internet slang for that is " aq" or "amk". They are very common in use, if you see those words in a sentence, know that it's a Turkish comment.

It's basically the Turkish equivalent of how commonly people use "fuck" in English. But aq seems so much prevalent in Turkey, it sticks out more lol. Also literally speaking amina koyim means "put it in your pussy" rather than fuck, but "koy" can be very rude in certain contexts! The reason "aq" is used rather than "ak" is because ak is an actual Turkish word of course (ironically meaning white, pure etc.). The latter Q doesn't exist in Turkish, so it became very useful for this xD.

Another Turkish internet slang that is actually decent, and I think quite cute, is how "Selam" (meaning hello) is written as Slm on the internet or in text messages.

And laughing in Turkish internet slang is kahkahkah or something like that right?

I see Mexican friends writing jejejejejejejejeje.
This one drives me nuts because even when typing in English to me, my Hispanic friends type that and it doesn't match the English pronunciation I'm reading in so I read it with a hard j sound.

In Brazil people very often smash their keyboards to laugh:

huasuhashuashuasuhas
osakpaoksaposkaposkopas

then it starts getting insane...

cyka blyat ))

cyka = "bitch"
blyat = eh, "slut"? it depends on the context. it's often used as "FUCK" equivalent
) - instead of smiles like ":)" we use single brackets for some reason. like this: "(" ")"
and we laugh like АХАХАХХАХАХАХАХАХАХАХХА

Here you go, now you know how to recognise Russian on the interwebs. It's hard not to tho.
