Thread is now super interesting.

Good job Steve, it was worthwhile after all.

So uh starladder starts in a few hours...

That's exciting!

Like the best teams in dota minus a few plus some south Korean dudes all in a country in the middle of a conflict!

No one pushed you into talking about Zed backdooring Syndra xpeke style.

What are considered some of the best LoL games to watch? I know for Dota I would consider the final match of TI3 to be actually be one of the best last year.

If a russian team wins will there be a Riot?

If the Russians wins Ukraine goes back Russia, and Na'vi must retroactively be considered a Russian team.

But don't worry, its balanced. See, If MVP Phoenix wins, Korea gets back together.

So another thing League has going for it is system requirements. I'm stuck on a shitty laptop and can't play Dota because it needs 4GB ram. Can play League though (after 3 minutes of loading and at 20fps).

I just started playing League of Legends the other day and I would like to know which champions are free. I see that I have a small selection available to me but when I google free champions of the week, I only see a bunch of champions that are unavailable to me. I'm also worried if my champion, Ahri, will become unplayable next week. If someone could explain this to me, I would appreciate it.

Edit: If anyone knows where I can find beginner guides for Ahri, please tell me. Most guides I find are either tutorial level stuff or talk about stuff I can't understand yet (AD Carry, etc.). Actually if anyone can tell me of a general guide that goes beyond the tutorial and explains items, roles and stuff, that would be great.

They change free champions each week, so if you want to keep playing somebody in between these rotations you'll need to unlock the champ using IP or RP.

well afaik ahri isn't on free week right now so if you already bought her she's yours forever

There is a static roster of relatively simple heroes to start with if you are completely new, and once you hit level 6 on the account you can start playing with the regular free week champions.

So you should be able to keep playing Ahri at least until you hit level 6 or tire of her. By that time, you might have enough IP to unlock her permanently if you want.

You can get 3 free champions + skins (Garen, Tristana, Alistar) by following Riot youtube, twitter and facebook. You can google it for details.
