Introduction to MOBAs

You seem to hate counterwarding, and smoke ganks, and early game aggression.

It's like, everything that stands in the way of hour long farm fests. The only soft-caps on League game length are towers being harder to defend and less swingy items.

It's like, everything that stands in the way of hour long farm fests. The only soft-cap on League game length is the fact that towers are harder to defend and there are less swingy items.

Counterwarding is fine, and still exists in LoL. The pink wards just kinda made regular wards obsolete with only a small pay increase.

Even with all the warding in LoL, you're hardly gankproof. Everyone has a blink, there's tons of gapclosers, there's stealth, there's globals.

If I was in favor of hour long farm fests I'd have a nasus avatar instead of a riven.

What if Nasus was a kawaii platinum blonde waifu riding a big staff?

No. He's just too passive. He's fun end game, and I pick him sometimes if It seems to be a favorable lane. Over though I like the high skill cap, early aggression of riven that I'm trying to get better at.

.

He has no pokes.

If he was a DOTA2 champ ooh boy.

Like SF but melee, tanky and with no cap.

What are these feelings inside me...

Yeah, it does. S stops everything. H holds you, but you auto attack.

I bet 90% of people don't know that, though. Also, it was funny watching Hazaro trying to CS in League, he was S-keying to cancel his auto attack animation when it wasn't required.

Much like Jax he's a timebomb. Shut them down, end the game quickly. Jax has a much much shorter fuse though.

Shorter fuse, but Nasus ends up much tankier despite the damage he's doing. A late game Nasus will never die, a late game Jax can be burst down fairly easily.

does league have a hold position?

or a move for that matter?

dota needs a patrol
I think A-move in league is normally used for moving while kiting, and some people use it to last hit too. It stops you from accidentally running too far when you're just trying to do max range hits.

You're beginning to see the light

I've always seen the light. My friends are the blind ones. That's not to shit on League, I think it's a great time and I enjoy playing it.

Oh, and they suck. Bronze level, all but one. So them playing Dota would be hilarious.

Maybe you can get Mason to coach them

Is Mason in High School or college? I thought he was in High School but a guy on reddit said I was wrong and he is in college.

I played league a couple days ago and did this for two whole games before I realized my mistake.

Burden of knowledge too great for that shit.

I like that with it being possible to see your opponents' abilities by clicking on them in Dota2, if anything the burden of knowledge is a bit more in leeg.

175k LoL accounts in China got the ban hammer:
http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueofleg...cent_banned_175661_league_of_legends_account/

I think thats like 1% of all Chinese accounts.

Also, Some odd opinions from the reddit poster there.

I wish that they were a bit heavier handed with bans, to be honest. I don't know what it is with MOBAs, but the communities are terrible. They really need to clean things up in these things.

Heck, I'd pay a one-time $50 fee to be put into a strictly moderated zone where they more aggressively investigate reports and ban people who are deserving.
