By the way she isn't even considered a carry normally in Dota. She can be built into one, but will more often get out carried by almost any real carry.

Eh? Problem is she doesn't really have durability or burst. Carry WR is possible, I've done it a couple times, but both times I had an ideal team lineup to complement it. If you want to carry WR try to get a friend to run Axe. Get him to blink in and occupy them while you dish out damage.

as an aside I do like how their are characters that have kits that would be absurd in the other game while filling completely different roles, a lot of which comes down to itemisation.
Like Windrunner would be an absurd ADC in League but isn't she played support and stuff in Dota 2?

As long as WR isn't the only carry on the team, playing her as a mid or offlane semi-carry works perfectly well. A hero doesn't have to be the top tier pick in pro games to be viable in a role.
The most important thing is reliably hitting schackleshots, and that's something Independent of farm.

Yeah she's a great semi-carry, she just doesn't have the team clearing presence of most hard carries
Just wish they would put more work into the client, the item builds help but I'd love to be able to get everything I need to know about a Champion without alt+tabbing.

yeah, I'm sure it'll come in time. it's an old client that forms the backbone of a hugely popular game. It won't just change overnight,but they've hired people who started work on 3rd party fan made clients and they're constantly iterating on the current client. Like it's far more functional than it was before, and is just missing some features to bring it up to par.
and I can resize my HUD which is pretty sweet

Already did, not a big enough userbase because my college is full of filthy casuals.
Either way, I'm a decent top (can play Jax, Mundo, Elise, Nasus, Trundle, Aatrox, Malphite, Yorick)(and by decent I mean I probably won't feed my lane) so I'll check it out.

I went mid, played ok, but the way to do it is get an orchid and gank. You can blink or forcestaff, I chose blink for lining up shackles. Then getting a deso is great for damage, followed by hex for even more initiation and some damage. I would have got daedulus or mkb after this if it went late. And as you can see I was carrying harder than Sniper. It's great fun so don't be afraid to call mid.

Ya it was fucking strenuous. My team was relying on me to hit a two man shackle, orchid storm and hex clinkz all straight away, which is how we came back from being behind. And Mirana was DCed for a large part of it lol.

I've shit on many a carry with carry WR. MKB/Crit + Scepter? Press R on enemy carry and E in team fights and win. Dont' sleep on the scepter upgrade.

Nope, still an obnoxious top lane bully, as always. Faced an AP Teemo as Nasus once. I didn't die, but it was an awful lane, constantly getting Q'd and making me build MR.

I did Teemo jungle last night. I went with Feral Flare so I can AFK farm both jungles, while letting my shrooms do the work. It was a big gamble in solo queue since I had to pray my teammates didn't overextend. Once I hit Lv6 I could keep the enemy jungler at bay while shrooming objectives. Wouldn't dream of doing it against the likes of Elise and Lee though.

I replaced sandstorm with a short (perfect) sandstorm loop, but I might want to change Epi out as well, that's pretty good.
