iPhone 4S |OT|

GL guys, I'm going to try my luck in the morning...it's not for me anyways, it's for the wife...so if she needs to wait an extra day, tough luck. XD
 
My money is on Apple not bringing up their site until the backend is working on AT&T/Sprint/Verizon properly.

Verizon worked like a charm, but it sounds like AT&T and Sprint are so fucked up right now that bringing it online at apple.com would just everything harder.

Just a guess, but I'm thinking they want the site working when it comes up.

...at least thats what I'll tell myself.
 
Help me understand this -- Apple.com hasn't gone down or anything but rather they just are taking their sweet time putting the store up?

That sounds awfully risky to me. Then again, I haven't bought an Apple product in several years.
 
where would i get one of those bamboo cases?

also just got mine through verizon. had to ship it to my parents house though, and then they'll overnight it to me when they get it....oh well at least i got through now time to help the gf get in.
 
Well, to be fair... I don't think Apple ever actually stated they would put it up for sale at midnight. The telecomms said it... And Apple has started pre-orders at 1am PST before.

Option 1. I started, made she she got hers right before 2. That way whenever I stopped to come to this, she would eventually pass out from exhaustion so that I wouldn't be nagged while not being in bed. It was really a fool-proof plan. I can always just finish in her hair or something.

On the other hand, it is weird that Apple and the telecomms wouldn't be coordinated on this.

On the other other hand, expecting coordination with the telecomms might be a bit too hopeful.

My opinion is invalid on cases because I hate all of them, but that case specifically looked thick enough to make the case wider than the buttons on the side.

The billing address on the card. From their website: "Your new equipment will be sent to your credit card billing address for security purposes."

So I guess I'll have to have it shipped to my house and then have my parents send it to me? Super convenient.

That's what I was thinking too. Apple is usually coordinated with events like this.
