youtube already works like that on the N95. Youtube has either an RSS feed or a mobile web page with streaming MP4 (don't know if its h264 or vanilla).
BTW, how does the battery work? Is it confirmed to be separated for music/everything else?
considering the big screen, surely many people will use it for video. If so, you're just wasting that extra battery which could give you more playtime.
