My iPod restarts my computer everytime I plug it in before it restarts and the first time I plugged it in to transfer songs over, when I went downstairs to eat, the computer had restart when I got back... probably a few times already.

Is it a power problem?

I had a random problem once. It wouldn't recharge while hooked up. Fixed it by reinstalling the bios or whatever it's called. Try it.

You mean to reset the iPod itself or my computer's bios of the motherboard?
