I still remember the day I first saw it, I swear to god, even to this day I've never been so excited for a videogame.

If MGS4 blows me away in like in 2000, it's going to make the wait for PS3 even harder. Plus it's probably going to come out a year after the system's launch, so we'll be cock-teased till X-Mas 2007 :/

It really all depends on what kind of presense Sony plans to have this E3 with the PS3. If there gonna unveil the console I would expect MGS4 to be there with the console.

It's funny, the original Metal Gear trailer actually excited me a lot more than the trailer for MGS2 did. I was impressed, to be sure (omg the ice melts accurately based on the surface it is on or some shit!?) but I don't know... something about Metal Gear making its return on the PSX with that great music and seeing the Metal Gear for the first time...

Yeah, but MGS3 made up for it big time. And with that game, my love for the series was once again restored, on with MGS4! I need a trailer stat Konami!

I'd say not a chance. It just doesn't make sense. Too soon. They just finished MGS3 months back. I figure they have to at least get a year to mess with setting the game up, and invest some time into the graphics engine. It just doesn't make sense that they'd have something to show so damn early. It is my most anticipated next gen title though.
