I have the original for Dreamcast and liked it quite a bit. it's no Ace Combat, but definitally the best alternative. is it worth getting a copy of the Xbox sequel or not? these are somewhat rare as they went out of print. btw, what's the PS2 version like?

Bid for Aerodancing 4 PS2 or any of the Aerodancing games on DC before this. Best console air combat simulators.

The only one I've played is Air Force Delta Strike for PS2. I'd say it's like a poor man's Ace Combat, basically, with a lot of interaction between the characters between (and during; there's a lot of radio chatter) missions. Graphics and gameplay are decent, you can unlock a nice selection of aircraft, and you can easily find it on the cheap now if you look around. If you've already finished AC5, it's worth a look.

Note: this got a rerelease of some sort, as it was available at all my local outlets around six months ago. So if you ebay it, don't cough up more than about $40 or whatever imo.
