Is Mick Jagger the most unmistakable vocalist?

He’s an unlikable, preening doofus. He’s done some good vocals in his early career but the Stones were tired when I was a teenager and I’m old. It’s really just Keith being really good at rhythm riffs.

I dunno, Robert Plant, Bob Dylan, Sting... Maynard... I'm not saying Mick isn't the bee's knees but yeah, there are at least some people with equally distinctive voices~ and they don't have knock knees

The OP is asking if Mick Jagger is the most unmistakable, not if you like him or not..

I would have to say no. I think the most unmistakable vocalist would be Chris Cornell, Robert Plant(Other than Greta van fleet) or Steven Tyler.

There is a lot of really good distinct vocalists.
It's almost as if it were a requirement to be at the top to have a unique voice.

Whitney Houston, Dolly Parton, Celine Dion, Adele, Aretha Franklin, a lot of Female singers have very distinct voice too.

As for the men, Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Ray Charles, Elton John, there is so many -.-

I think there's a lot out there. Jagger for sure is noticeable right away.

Geddy Lee (Rush)
Bon Scott/Brian Johnson (AC/DC)
Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam)
Steve Perry (Journey)
Huey Lewis (Huey Lewis and the News)
John Fogerty (CCR)
Robert Plant (Led Zep)
Scott Weiland (STP/Velvet Revolver)

I think all these guys have really unmistakable voices.

The guy from crash test dummies. Although when he sings it can be mistaken for an earthquake 🤔

The correct answer is Sir Steven Hawking.

Axl Rose is pretty unique sounding, miles Kennedy, s to the n to the double o p, norah jones, dolly parton. Bob Dylan on his Christmas album sounds very unique, absolutely terrible, but unique.

We ain't outta here in ten minutes, we won't need no rocket to fly through space
Brian Johnson takes the throne

It would have been more interesting If the question was the other way around!
because when I first heard mr. blue sky, I thought the singer was john lennon!

If I was transported to a nightmare Heavy Metal FAKK world, the Wilson sisters would be at the top of the tallest ziggurat with the loudest sound-system, beckoning all:

If we're talking about recognizable and pleasant...

It's Michael Jackson, clearly.

Takes a couple of words from him to make you realize this classic sounds better with him singing it (and Diana sings it good).

He's not the most technically talented singer, but he's possibly my favourite singer. His voice and style is so distinctive and I think his has gotta be the most easily recognizable voice around.

He is truly a legend, no doubt. I really like his style.

ps: Thank God morons stopped with that trend of rhyming Swagger with Mick Jagger in songs which was so prevalent 10 years ago. Motherfuckers. lol
