Recently there is a case where essential gangs shooting at each other, 1 die and another someone bring a knife to a fist fist, someone die but the state attoy refuse to press charge with the reasoning of Mutual Combat rule.

Is that really a thing and how soon before we see legalize trial by combat.

Yes its a thing in some jurisdictions, but realistically its at the discretion of the state to enforce regardless of whats in the books. If you fight in a public area around cops you're probably going to get in trouble.

Seattle has one or two cases of this, I remember hearing about it when the whole antifa/proud boy stuff was in the news (dunno if it specifically related to that, but thats when I first heard about it).

Yea it is totally a thing. Phoenix Jones kicked the dog shit out of some drunk guy in front a bunch of cops but made him agree to mutual combat first then just walked away.

Normally its about 2 dumbasses getting into a fist fight.


This shoot out example is crazy due to all the other criminal aspects being completely ignored. - Negligent discharge of a fire arm,. and other weapons violation, not to mentioned attempted murder (or double self defense lol??)


Bottom line, these cops and DA just gave up.
