Seriously, next time someone does a Reggie interview they need to show him a fuckin release list. He's kicked so much ass he's forgot to give us anymore games!

Strange, there's more Xbox games than PS2 games next month.

EDIT: WHAT!? WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP POKER WAS CANCELLED?!

Yeah, so baisically there are a surplus of gamecubes and a shortage of games.....and a surplus of Xbox games and a shortage of Xboxes?

My list might not be so accurate, i didn't pay much attention to comparing xbox/ps2 titles. But AFAIK xbox exclusives for the month are Jade Empire, WM 21, Still Life, Close Combat, Raze's Hell(:lol) , UC2, Doom 3

"While others are talking, Nintendo is acting. Let me ask you a question: what company right now is driving category sales? If you said someone other than Nintendo, you're wrong. We have momentum -- have had it since late last year, and if you don't feel it yet, you will. I promise you that." Reggie

Haha SSX you just love to quote Reggie dont you :D

Reggie's cool. Some of the other suits at NCL/NOA though, that's where the problem is.

And yeah, pretty much third party support for the GCN is dead, unless you're counting Namco's Mario Kart Arcade GP.

April is all about this

What's the deal with Mercury anyways? I've always heard that they were going to use a tilt sensor, but I really don't see how that will work (unless they included the thing within the game package or something).

its another fucking logjam a whole lot of AAA games coming out at the same time that nobody has time for

strange why the PS2 has AAAA's God of War and GT4 coming out so close to the PSP launch

At this point it's pretty much just multiplatform games from Sega, EA, THQ, Activision, Bandai, UbiSoft and Capcom. Namco and Konami still have some stuff coming for Nintendo too, but not as publishers.

Still, Nintendo's other platforms look to be doing okay comparatively, looking at April to May...

Game Boy Advance
-Killer Pool
-Scrabble Blast
-Pac-Man Pinball Advance
-Tokyo Xtreme Racer Advance
-Pokemon Emerald
-Hugo: The Evil Mirror
-Mr. Driller 2
-Popeye: Rush for Spinach
-Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
-Wario Ware Twisted!
-Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
-Madagascar

Nintendo DS
-World Championship Poker: Deluxe Series
-Polarium
-Pac-Pix
-Puyo Pop Fever
-Egg Monster Hero
-Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
-Need for Speed Underground 2
-Madagascar

PSP
-Archer Maclean's Mercury
-MLB 2005
-Smartbomb
-FIFA Soccer 2005
-Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition
-ATV Offroad Fury: Blazin' Trails
-NBA Street Showdown
-MVP Baseball 2005
-Rengoku: The Tower of Purgatory

-N-Gage
-The Roots: Gates of Chaos
-Worms World Party
-WWE Aftershock
-Xanadu Next

Last I heard they didn't really know when the tilt sensor would come out. It definetly seems ready to go though going by CV&G's comments

But if the idea of only using an analogue stick to tilt the level still sounds complicated, then check this out. Maclean and his team at Awesome Studios have put together a little tilt sensor that plugs into the top of the PSP. When you start a level in the game the unit automatically calibrates itself at horizontal, then every little dip and twist of the unit itself is seamlessly translated into the game, It works flawlessly, adding a thrilling physical edge to the puzzle action that simply can't be achieved with an analogue stick. It's as if your blob of Mercury is actually right there under the glass of your PSP screen.

Psychonauts
I can't understand at all why this game won't be released on Gamecube...
Almost every third party game that sells best on the Cube is either focused to kids (Sonic, Super Monkey Ball, licensed THQ games) or to hardcore/old-school gamers (Ikaruga, Viewtiful Joe) and Psychonauts fits both criteria. :(

Jade Empire and Rise of Kasai bomb?

Have you tried the Kasai demo? Ugh.

Jade Empire, I haven't tried but it looks interesting. I'm thinking that maybe it'll underperform because of Doom 3.

Hey, just like the good ol' N64 days! Looks like Nintendo hasn't made any progress this generation (post-cartridge format).

Nintendo HAS made some positive changes.
Instead of NO demos, they released ONE for the Cube AND about a dozen demo discs for stores. That's an improvement over ZERO.
Now they just need MONTHLY demos in Nintendo Power.

No, they need MONTHLY good releases on their system.

Nintendo could lose all third party GCN support for all I care...I just want insurance that the new Harvest Moon GC comes over. After that, don't really care.

well what do you expect when developers say "Hey, lets release a game on the PC, Ps2, and Xbox, but not GC!!"

Who cares. 3rd party game sell like shit anyway, no wonder they`re not supporting it. Only Nintendo`s games sell to GC owners it seems. I`m sure Nintendo doesn`t even need, or necessarily want, much 3rd party support. Less competetion for their games. Nintendo could do well with a system with only Nintendo games for it.
