Is the iQue player still around?

Beat Wonder tonight and in the credits it mentions iQue localization, iQue translation, and quality assurance. AFAIK the iQue was a handheld N64 for China. Wikipedia has nothing more on the subject either. Is Nintendo still using iQue as a product to sell Switch games in China?

No, they're just a localization and translation company. Nothing to do with a specific, manufactured product nowadays.

yeah, the entire system was in the controller and it hooked up to your tv via composite.
no rumble pack support.

your game was stored on a flashcard and originally you had to buy/download games at a kiosk.
later you could download games at home.

system was a workaround because china outlawed home consoles.
