4 and 5 together, I couldn't pick. 4 has manhunters, Mac & Charlie die parts 1 + 2, who pooped the bed, and Nightman. 5 has Frank's intervention, the world series defense, the D.E.N.N.I.S system, the great recession. Too close to call, the show's just solid gold at that point.

And season 5 has The Gang Re-ignites The Rivalry (Flipdalephia), Kitten Mittens, Mac and Charlie Write a Movie, The Gang Exploits The Mortgage Crisis. It's definitely the best. I'd even have season 6 next, then season 4 and 7 tied

I get that it used to be more subtle, but I still like modern Dennis anyway. The shouting at Wally or the untethered rage scene, those are still hilarious to me. I guess I can explain it away by Dennis getting crazier as time goes on. I feel like that applies to a lot of the flanderization in the show, tbh.

Philly swims in the same comedy waters as South Park. It’s supposed to be bloody offensive to highlight prejudice and stupidity.

They gonna ban the clearly anti religious stuff next? Maybe the disabled stuff? Hell, why not just cancel it and we’ll all watch asinine garbage like How I Met Your Mother.

It sucks because Dee Day from last season, probably the best new episode we've had in years, was one of the ones hit.

I'm both surprised they haven't and would prefer they take down the Carmen episodes before they touch any of the blackface ones.

I think this might actually be better. Probably the hardest I have ever laughed at a piece of media in my life. Closest I've ever come to passing out due to lack of oxygen.

Yea I agree with this. Sunny did so much good stuff, but this one obtained meme status because of the musical numbers. It's fantastic but they've done even more funny eps.

Also, I think the greatest episode of comedy tv (not really a sitcom) was the 'Nathan for You' Alligator TV episode. One of the most brilliantly crafted episodes of comedy tv of all time, and it's using real people and therefor could not be fully scripted. I'd link a clip but you really need to watch the entire episode for the payoff at the end.
