So looking back at that post, there are 4 versions:

MGS4 SE
MGS4 LE
MGS4 PS3 Bundle w/ SE game
MGS4 "Gunmetal" PS3 Bundle

Seeing as I'm getting a PS3 with MGS4, it would only make sense to get the bundle. (And I want backwards compatibility, so that makes even more sense.)

But I also want the Limited Edition of the game.

Is there any information out on the Gunmetal PS3 Bundle yet? I'd like to know if it comes with the SE or LE version of the game.

I assume it will come with the SE, but I'd love that to be wrong.

Nothing else has been posted on the PS Blog about it, and maybe I just missed it, but is ther a confirmed price for the normal PS3 bundle? Will it be $500 or $600?

Dude, the limited edition is $85. Where are you getting $200 from?

... Actually, where are you getting the Snake figure from as well? That's not part of the LE.

I live in Europe, and here it's listed at $200. My retailer announced both the GT5 and GTA bundles early, so I believe it's real.

Edit: The MRSP is about $100 for a regular PS3/XBOX360 game where I live, so I guess the LE would be a lot cheaper in the US.

Somewhere in Europe that Konami of Europe doesn't care about so Game stores will do their own collectors edition unless KoE can't really send out news to other people because they are still sending mail using a pidgeon.

hmm it sounds like that LE is slightly different then ours:

bluray with 2 making of documentaries (probably the same)
original soundtrack
limited cover artwork by Shinkawa

no figure for us =(

edit: it seems gamestop has stopped listing the artbook as a preorder bonus =(.

Question is whether the 80gb is a regular one or one with the smaller Cell and RSX like the 40gb... If its a new 80gb that is lighter and cooler, I am jumping in. Otherwise, I am sticking to my 60gb.

I'd like to know this as well, what I do know is that there wont be preorders for the 80gb bundle. Asked this at a few different gamestop's the other day, no preorders on existing hardware they said. They will sell the bundles at midnight though on the 12th if they have them and your store is doing a midnight launch.

I'm really wondering though about the gunmetal bundle, will they price it above the 80gb model? Will we see the "magic" $600 price point return for this thing?

Thanx mate Sometimes online retailers get exclusive Limited Edition releases, Play.com had one for Assassin's Creed which I bought, but as it's in English and looks like it's from a press release it could be an official Europe wide one.

Most stores won't be taking preorders because they don't want to have an issue with people not getting their systems.
