Only reason I have an Xbox Series X is because I was able to get it for ~$300 new a couple years ago.

Howevee, Microsoft went in the compete opposite direction and decided to jack the price up.

1. Delete the pay for online bullshit and make the console a legit multi-player beast.
2. Make a discord-like service that is fully cross compatible with xbox and PC. Allow for groups of friends to post messages, pictures, memes in a private sandbox. Cut a deal with a music service to allow for people to play music while gaming together like the music bots do on PC.
3. Do not chase Sony on single player games. Beat them on multiplayer. Xbox should be putting out stuff like Helldivers and Valheim constantly.

No. They lost me a long time ago. I rock with my Switch 2, Playstation 5, and occasionally Imac steam games i can play or mac source port games. Xbox doesn't have anything I want and anything I want to play I already have on Xbox 360. Also backwards compatible so original Xbox games are covered also. And I own the games sooooooooo.

I'm still a customer but in the traditional 360 era sense - I pay for the multiplayer, not gamepass.

In a nutshell - make some banging AA games for not too crazy amounts of money, make them unique, and for the love of God put the whole game on the piece of chemically altered fossil fuel I bought in argos.

Reconsolidate their exclusives (everything except CoD and Minecraft)and drop new hardware for the same price as what PS6 will be would be a huge step in proving time they dare about their console fans and hardware again.

Probably not, I'm too locked into the Sony eco system, I own a series X and pay for gamespass, and I find it a great inconvenience to even switch it on or switch hdmi, or grab the controller from below the tv.

The ONLY thing they could do would be to really smash it out the park with EXCLUSIVES. They bought a lot of the studios I love, but their games have turned to shit, or in many cases, dust as they sack them all. Then those that do release are on or will come to PlayStation. So really no point.
