Is there more to nintendogs than the demo?

I played a 5 minute demo of the game, and these dogs run around in a pen thing, then you push "wear a hat" or "throw frisby" and you can scratch the dog and give it some toys. Is that the whole game or are lots of things missing from the demo?

Uh, that gameplay sounds like an old first april joke in a UK Spectrum magazine :lol

They made a crappy game called the "Lawnmover simulator", and did a review of it, and put it as a "best game of the month". and did also release it on a tape that you got with the magazine.

I played it and was like "WTF?.." you just drove around on a lawnmover on a grass.. that was it :D

I don't know what was on the demo, but I got the complete version, I played about 30 minutes and asked myself : "Is that it ?".

It seemed to be. The only game in the genre that I did enjoy what Seaman, since the fish actually talked with you. He said some funny stuff.

Nintendogs is, in my opinion, exactly what it is supposed to be : a 12 years old girl catcher. They see the cute doggie, want the game, like the game because it doesn't revolve around anything more than cutyness.

I wouldn't understand ANYONE that have a real gaming past who would pick up Nintendogs on the shelves before Advance Wars DS (which is incredibly good, by the way).

Yeah, I played that demo the other day, and it sucks complete ass.

In the real game you actually get to train your dog, walk it, take it to competitions, and find items. Sure there is not that much to it, but that demo doesn't let you do much at all.

Training takes up alot, competitions take up alot, walking takes up alot, multiple dogs multiply this. There's a ton of content. I've never played the demo, but it sounds like it's just the same thing as the kennel's view mode, where you play with pre-trained dogs. THat's really boring.

The demo also doesn't have any voice recognition. And yes, the demo is just like the kennel mode which is really nothing compared to the actual game.

oh okay, cause I showed it to my girlfriend, and she said "man this sucks"... she plays mr driller all the time though :D
