Is there really a painless way to commit suicide?

Heh you make it sound so easy to take the sleeping pills knowing you'll die.
Well, it must be easier than living a difficult life, otherwise people wouldn't do it as there's certainly no other reward for an early death.

And as far as you don't have a family to support you owe nothing to noone. Sure you'll make them unhappy but it's plain stupid doing something you hate just to satisfy the others. Again, life belongs to you and noone else.
The point is not to satisfy others. It's that you should take responsibility for your actions. Sometimes you have to do things that you don't enjoy in life, but you do them anyway because you have love and respect for others. A person who commits suicide is often only considering his own needs, and that is the very definition of selfish.

Is there any chance that by "easier" you mean smarter?

Sorry I might be selfish, but I don't usually do things I don't like for people I love, because deep down if they love me too they wouldn't want me to do them (the sentence is kinda confusing I know :) ). Again, you can't demand things from people you love when you know (or find afterwards) that they hate to do them. Anyway, the arguement is getting way too circular and I'm getting bored.

No, because I don't consider it a choice that is that affected by wisdom.

I was in no way implying that you should do everything that you don't like for the people you love, but there are certain things that should be done for them, even if those actions are difficult. One of those things is not taking your own life. If a person weren't selfish, he would at the very least discuss a decision as massive as commiting suicide with the ones he loved before going through with it.

Jumping off a building is more painful than some might think. Very few of the people who jump die from the impact; rather, they die from a heart attack on the way down. I would imagine that a heart attack is plenty painful, too.

How do you explain skydiving?

People who kill themselves are either nuts, or selfish inconsiderate assholes. Think about it, chances are there people who like/love you and will mourn you. You also leave a fucking mess to the person closest to you, arrangement for funeral, cleaning up all your shit. Your paper work, selling your shit etc. Cowards? No, but selfish assholes, yup.
So is it okay to kill yourself as long as you have taken care of all your affairs?
