I saw a commercial for this ECW one night stand. Anyone know anything about it? Will the matches actually be extreme or is this one last cash in on the name? Also will this take place in the ECW arena with the same broadcasters? I really want to order this thing, I cant help but feel I will be dissapointed though. I havent really followed wrestling for about 4 years.

It's a reunion show that was thought up by RVD, written by Paul Heyman and put together by Tommy Dreamer. I'm sure it'll be just as you want it to be. They even did an angle where Heyman showed up on Raw and told Vince "You can own ECW, but I still control ECW."
Internet people are being homos about it being WWE's version of ECW-lite, but I trust Heyman would never let this PPV happen unless he knew he could do whatever he wanted.
I think Joey Styles said no to doing this PPV, but Joel Gertner will be there, and I guess they'll probably have Tazz do commentary.

I agree with Brian... that show looks terrible. WWE has all the workrate guys from ECW... Shane Douglas has thrown together all the hardcore guys. Sabu can't do anything anymore without fear of killing himself from injuries, that three-way match will be disappointing.MartyOtaku said:
