Is this Paul Tassi guy's one and only job to create FUD around Marathon?

Like what the fuck is his problem? What kind of website is Forbes these days?

It's his job to pull everything out of his ass because he has no actual inside information. I'm fact he knows less than multiple people on the board.

The worst part is the morons on this board still post his contributor articles and attribute them to Forbes. As if theyre legitimate.

It's no different than insert Twitch or YouTube streamer, TBH.

Player engagement during the beta test showed everything there is to see. Nobody will waste their time playing a microtransaction store with the Bungie logo on the box.

Forbes will let pretty much anyone write whatever. It's a good place for garden variety forum fanboys to test their mettle before they become the next jezz or ryan or whoever.

His job is to generate clicks and talk around his work. Congrats, you got played.

Also, isn't this like two articles now? You act like he has written 56 articles.

It's Paul Tassi. His job is to make sure Forbes doesn't acually lose money in paying him to cover games. And like it or not, Marathon is the biggest question mark in gaming right now. So this tracks.

Paul Tassi sucks...but are we pretending Marathon is great or even in a "good" place? It's the absolute example of trend-chasing mid slop.

I get being annoyed by the noise of social media, but the attempts to deflect criticism with it must just be rage-bait or grifting are pointless.

Enough of these games that get trashed, deserve it because they look bad. The response from the audience isn't mind-controlled to them, and Bungie refused to address feedback that's been around for a while.

Bungie should consider themselves lucky to even still be hated by enough people, because the next step if they don't improve is apathy.

I typically only hear "FUD" used by people on the losing side of an issue. Can't tell you how many posts by Crypto scammers or deluded followers decrying FUD whenever someone questioned the narrative

Marathon isn't looking good. From the controversies to the lukewarm reception it's gotten from players so far.. I don't find Paul to be off base here. It needs radical changes, and there's not enough time to develop those changes before launch.. so it's over before it started.

He's literally just a freelancer who gets Forbes masthead because no actual editors there give a shit about games.

I don't know why we take him seriously, and I've been saying this for years.
