Like what the fuck is his problem? What kind of website is Forbes these days?
That dude looked so defeated the whole stream.
It's no different than insert Twitch or YouTube streamer, TBH.It's his job to pull everything out of his ass because he has no actual inside information. I'm fact he knows less than multiple people on the board.
The worst part is the morons on this board still post his contributor articles and attribute them to Forbes. As if theyre legitimate.
Scott the Woz did a fantastic parody of the ragebaiters recently:
It's no different than insert Twitch or YouTube streamer, TBH.
Not from what I played. Gun play was great and that's about itI mean, are people actually excited for Marathon?
Lol I don't think, only a tiny tiny niche crowd.I mean, are people actually excited for Marathon?
Just not the multitrillion dollar ones. It's also his job to rile people up by saying mean things about multibillion dollar corporations.
That one has been in shambles for so many years now where are the clicks in beating not only a dead horse but one that is nothing left but skeletal remainsJust not the multitrillion dollar ones.
Man's gotta eat.![]()
His job is to generate clicks and talk around his work. Congrats, you got played.
It was actually an alpha, a vertical slice of the game and in nowhere near final. Is it going to ship and be wildly different? Who knows, but this pile on for what was essentially a few months old build is somewhat ridiculous. Let's wait for the final product before losing our collective shit.Player engagement during the beta test showed everything there is to see. Nobody will waste their time playing a microtransaction store with the Bungie logo on the box.
When a quality game launches in alpha or beta, people will stick to it for as long as possible. Let's just say that this was the extreme opposite, kinda like Anthem. It was actually an alpha, a vertical slice of the game and in nowhere near final. Is it going to ship and be wildly different? Who knows, but this pile on for what was essentially a few months old build is somewhat ridiculous. Let's wait for the final product before losing our collective shit.
I honestly feel like that's more telling than anything else.Afaik, Tassi was a big Bungie fan and Destiny apologizer. Which just shows that the worst enemies you can have are the ones you create yourself.
Both articles seemed to be accurate.
Marathon straight up doesn't look good.
This, so much this. Its good to know though that this dosent change the fact that bungie and most of all Marathon is screwed anyway. My new meta is watching all of the hateboners who call out ragebaiters instead of calling out the toxic corpo zombie industry that has ruined my favorite entertainment medium. If even half of the crap swirling around Marathon is true, a company spent $4B to acquire a studio to make them billions more except that that isn't how video games work, nor is it how they should work, but so few people seem to care about that anymore. But here we are, calling out online article authors because they are the REAL problem.
I enjoy this meta where people "hate this person so much" yet make threads about them.
Just gives them more exposure and more clicks, regardless if it's negative it's a form of engagement. But I get the feeling that some people already know this and are using it for exactly that effect.
