I think My Fairy King is their low key best song, it's the precursor to Bohemian Rhapsody and it's the song where Fred Bulsara became Freddie Mercury when he wrote the line "Mother Mercury, look what they've done to me." To which he explained to the rest of the band "Mother Mercury is my mother so I shall become Mercury."

But I do love Under Pressure and the story about how the song was created. How John Deacon came up with the bass line, went out for dinner and when he came back couldn't remember it until Roger remained him.

And how Freddie and David originally planned to record their vocals riffs separately without the other one knowing what the other recorded, and then they would mix their riffs afterwards. Freddie went first and started to riff, David snuck into the engineering room and made notes of what Freddie was doing. So the next day when the roles were reversed and David was doing his "riffs" Freddie went into the engineering room to have a listened and remarked to the sound engineer "this is amazing, I swear David is just a genius, just listen to how he knew what to do without even knowing it" to which the engineer said "I'd be a genius as well if I listened to what the other guy did too" to which Freddie shouted, "Oh what a rotten cunt!"

Keep Yourself Alive might be a challenger for that title. esp once that guitar solo kicks in.

It's up there as one of their greatest songs. Definitely in my top 5.

In no order:
Under Pressure
Somebody to love
I Want To Break Free
Killer Queen
Queen Bohemian Rhapsody (even though it has been played to death)

They have so many great songs the list could go on for much longer.

Love it but my vote goes to Death on Two Legs and Spread Your Wings. Queen is so fucking good but not many people remember their hard rock phase.

Low key?? It is extremely well known and famous and features David Bowie.

Real answer is Dragon Attack from 1980, song is bad ass and has more than a whiff of Rage Against The Machine about it, has an awesome drums section, shredding by Brian May, a cow bell AND it features in Sleeping Dogs. Case closed.

This reminds me, anyone who hasn't seen Adaption--Nic Cage plays a struggling neurotic writer who finds himself in a situation that's stranger than fiction. Sleeper classic. Song used to great effect in film itself, also in trailer.

Radio GaGa and The Show Must Go On.
My all time favourite 80-90's tune is West End girls, earliest song i can remember.
EDIT: Everybody Wants To Rule The World is another big one.
