I'm saying anime like Reviewers isn't a new thing. It could have aired in the 90s no problem.
Kii vs Suu kaiju fight. Guy had to suck on her tits to bring her back to normal. There are other things here and there and if it ever got a S2 you'd had the farm arc and lamia rape.

The egg thing was the weirdest thing to me because there was so much focus on it. And Miia wanted to eat it. It's basically Papi's stillborn child

Easily would have made an OVA. I mean Mezzo and Kite were OVAs, to use ones that were mentioned in this thread though those were explicit. A more borderline case would be Agent Aika or a few other of Studio Fantasia's OVAs from the time, RIP to that studio.
Most of the sexy stuff that made the transition from OVA into TV series in the 90s had that reduced significantly.. The example that comes to mind right away for me was Burn Up W -> Burn Up Excess.

It was weird since it was a kaiju fight. Also Harpies lay eggs all the time and like chickens there is nothing in em until they receive dna. Chicken brain even said so herself and ofc the fucking snake wants to eat an egg LMAO. Also don't really feel anything for the girls myself I just like monster girls in general as a concept. I mean you have a snake (cloaca), bird (flat/cloaca), spider (abomination kill it), zombie (worms), horse (non human vag), siren (I'm not Jotaro) and a slime. The only clear choice is the Cthulhu abomination shapeshifter that can turn into anything or the giant humanoid women.
90s anime made even less fucking sense now that I think about it. Apocalypse Zero comes to mind.

Myself, I'm not picky aside from centaur-type monstergirls being weird. Centorea is basically Darkness minus the big M (not my taste either way) and Rachnera is way too dom anyway.

Pretty late into this thread but just wanted to say that I'm glad not everyone finds Funimation fun. I miss when there were distributors with balls like U.S. Manga Corps, ADV, Urban Vision, the original (not rebranded) AnimeWorks, Pioneer ,etc. The best I can find today is Discotek/Eastern Star.
