Looks like I will be sticking with downloading classic games on the Revolution come next-gen...

So you are going to buy a new system just to play old games?

Well it is your money. :D

Yes, lets give nintendo more money for doing something we can do now and for free! Anything Nintendo does, seems to get the support of their followers.

They could sell a piece of shit on a stick just by having nintendo written on it.
We already have nintenshits here at GAF...

$60 games is just too much. Im already playing less and less games because its hard to justify evne buying a lot of games at $50. If the consoles really are $400 and games $60, i think its gonna be time for me to find a new hobby, seriously.

Yeah, jeez, if true (although its been debunked) americans will get games for a price....equal to or less than what most others already pay. I feel sorry!

that's what i'm thinking... and from the ashes of the industry Nintendo will rise once again, stronger than before!

But people are doing that already for PSP... and before you accuse me of trolling, I'm talking about people who are happy to buy a second PSP for new games just so they can keep their old PSP for emulation. (Not gonna mention the number of ports PSP gets... nosiree!)

You guys, I SERIOUSLY doubt that games will remain that high. I mean just look at this Gen, there will be numerous deals online, on games that haven't even been released. Places like outpost.com have been selling $50 games anywhere from $35-$45.

I don't see myself EVER having to pay that high, for the sole fact that some online site will have a deal on the game within the first week or two of its release if not when it ships out.

It's more then emulation. It is also homebrew. Unless Revolution is easily as hackable I wouldn't equate the two. Plus I don't think the Revolution is a portable media station that you can take with you and use at your leisure. :P

Also, those poeple buying second PSPs are impatient. The way things are going it looks like you'll be able to trick the PSP into being a 2.0 system to play 2.0 required games. :)

games in japan are already overpriced.

an extra 2000 yen would not be fun.

f*ck, at least microtransactions are OPTIONAL, a 2000 yen across the board would just suck massive cocks (actually, i'd be unsurprised if the X360 games go up by the same amounts)

Keep in mind that average game sales have been falling in Japan. US publishers don't have that problem, so they are under much less pressure to jack up game prices.

Japanese games are ALREADY $65-75 THIS generation.

He's saying that games will be $10 more next generation IN JAPAN.

This has NO RELATIONSHIP to U.S. pricing.

SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP
Jack Frost for the win. Try again, bitches.
