Damn do they know what causes this shit?
Next time you go take a video camera, I wanna see/hear this needles in the penis shit for myself.

Basically because of my KFS (as previously mentioned) they strongly suspect some of the nerves in my spine are damaged or sensitive such that if I hit them a certain way the muscles that allow human males to sustain an erection (normally more or less involuntarily) are triggered if they're nudged the wrong way, or if I'm laying a certain way or... some way involved.

The other potential (and MUCH MUCH MUCH more serious) culprit which they're going to look into this week is that I was born with hydrocephalus (water on the brain) and had a shunt installed a few days after I was born (which by something damn fucking close to a miracle has never needed to be updated). If THAT were in some way damaged that could also be involved. They don't THINK that is the case, but considering this re occurrence they're basically going to check my entire nervous system for irregularities to see if that explains it.

:/

Does this mean surgery of some sort?

There are several possibilities depending on what neurology turns up. If nothing I might go on anti-depressants which would reduce my ability to get a spontaneous erection. another possibility is low dose viagra during the day (which actually can also build up your resistance to getting an erection during the night according to most studies because it increases the production of hormones that counteract the ability to get erections viagra grants you). There might be a few other non-surgical options as well, but right now they're just covering their bases with neurology.

Oh, and technically the "treatment" for priapism that I detailed previously IS already considered urological surgery.
