It's 2005... Post pics of your game collection!

I'd post pics of my collection, but I don't have a digital camera. =( (I really want to get one)

I'll just post a link to my collection on IGN... http://users.ign.com/collection/soul.less

NOTE: My collection on IGN is not complete. There are a few games I own that I want to put on there but IGN doesn't have in their database...

Timen, those glass-door cabinets are very nice.

I was wondering where you got them. They look Ikea-ish. If so, what is the model so I can see about picking them up.

they are Ikea :)

they are called "Billy". I got them in the Netherlands dunno if you can get them world wide.

You should be able to find them on www.ikea.com

Serious question here, how the hell do some of you guys find any one particular game? Out of all of those pics, there were maybe one or two people who have their games sorted alphabetically. I was thinking that perhaps some were sorted by genre, but that idea was nixed after actually looking at the games. I mean seriously, WinBack, Gradius, Nightshade, Okage, Silent Scope?!? And in someone else's, Steel Battalion, SW: KOTOR, Halo, M:I, Ninja Gaiden, Indiana Jones, Midway's Greatest Hits!?! I know I'm anal (all my discs have to be oriented properly in the case), but come on, alphabetical isn't THAT hard. :)

Mine are sorted from when I bought them for the PS2. The N64, PSX, and SNES, I just tried to match the series together, or developer (I think Hybrid Heaven is next to In the Zone '98, the Pokemon games are next to each other and so are the Rare and Mario games). The Atari ones were alphabetized.

I live in Vancouver, there's an ikea in Richmond (close by).

Any chance you could take a picture with the doors closed? (if that's not asking too much) those pictures are so much better than the catalogue. Hi-res and I get to see what it would look like with the kind of stuff I would put into it.

As usual, I can't take a good digicam picture worth a damn. I'm going to buy a new digicam, this one's shitty.

^This is what I work with.
3.jpg

^This is where I stack most of my games (SNES, N64, Genesis/Megadrive..)
4.jpg

^Current gen games. Gamecube takes up left, and PS2/Xbox/GCN on the right. My Famicom is up on the right. I think Dragon Quest 3 is in there right now.

^System rack. Clockwise topleft: Sega CD/Genesis2, SMS, Genesis 1, SNES, NES, PSOne (hidden), PS2#1, PS2#2, Xbox, N64, Turbo Grafx 16, Megadrive (hidden).

^I decided to reorganize my games. I layed them all out, and they took up my entire carpet area.

I used to have a medium size collection with some consoles but sold everything and concentrated on only collecting GameBoy stuff because I like the simple games. I mainly collect old black and white stuff but eventually will get the GBA games that I want.

i had a small collection around 120+ games. Sold some and now have about 60. All from Snes all the way to the NDS.

Well, I hope this thread remains relatively peaceful. Tomorrow blood will spill in the PSP announcements for NA and Xbox 2 details at CES threads.
