I'm starting to think that Naruto has changed the entire perception of ninjas, even in Japan. I mean, its a pretty big phenomenon, but no longer do you find your basic, all-black ninja costumes. They're all different colors with headbands, battle jackets, jumpsuit, pockets, etc. I mean it looks pretty cool and all, but I wonder if the effects of Naruto and ninja imagery are going to last longer than the series itself.
