France - country of French kisses, Marc Dorcel, Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen (prepared with a help of Thomas Jefferson), French Revolution. Country that gave the world the appreciation of fine things in life, wine, women, luxury. Join me in celebrating this incredible country I am proud to call my own.

To all our American friends - thank you for making France great:

This is an applicable explanation

"So a man walks into a bar, and sits down. He starts a conversation with an old guy next to him. The old guy has obviously had a few. He says to the man:
"You see that dock out there? Built it myself, hand crafted each piece, and it's the best dock in town! But do they call me "McGregor the dock builder"? No! And you see that bridge over there? I built that, took me two months, through rain, sleet and scoarching weather, but do they call me "McGregor the bridge builder"? No! And you see that pier over there, I built that, best pier in the county! But do they call me "McGregor the pier builder"? No!"
The old guy looks around, and makes sure that nobody is listening, and leans to the man, and he says:
"but you fuck one sheep..."

I won't go so far as the "greatest country", but France always seems pretty cool culture and food wise to me.

good music too.

I went to Paris last year and loved it. Wasn’t expecting much because I had seen people say they are disappointed, people are rude and it is dirty/smelly. I didn’t think so. I can hardly speak French and people were helpful. Maybe because I at least made an effort?

As for the cleanliness…no different from any other places I’ve been

The only thing that kinda annoyed me was how many scammers there were and how obvious they were being. Lost count of how many people came up to me wanting me to sign shit. Just said no and kept walking.

Really enjoyed it. Beautiful city. Would like to go back :)

No one shall be brought before our LORD David Bowie without the true and secret knowledge of the Photoshop. For in that time, so shall He appear.
I did bake these baguettes a couple weeks ago

Paris has fallen.

The French countryside is lovely and I like the cycle race in France.

Napoleon is one of the top 3 generals of all time. 1 Alexander. 2 ghengis khan 3 napoleon.

Ubisoft use to make cool games.

Paris is nasty, but everywhere else I've been in the country (mostly in the direction/region of the German/Luxembourgish/Belgian borders and the north coast) seems pretty cool.

France does have some tasty pastries.

Can go to Disney without horrible lines that plague other parks is kinda neat too.

What's up with the lack of toilet seats at public toilets? Like it's just the bowl and no seat. Is everyone just expected to hover? As a man, I didn't have to use them much, but my wife was always complaining about it. Though I did eat something funky that gave me the shits and had to drive back into Germany from Paris with diarrhea stopping at rest stops on the way and holy shit my thighs hurt for days after. Last time we went to France was 2019 as we moved from Germany back to the US that same year, but for whatever reason my wife wants us to go Paris to spring break, so we're going, and now we have a daughter, so we're not really sure how to handle it, she's 5 so obviously not tall enough or probably able to just over on those. Any advice would be nice.

I heard france people protest on the streets and burn the city even if the croassaint price raise by .10 cents, is it true? :lollipop_grinning_sweat:

Jokes(?) aside, my parents visited paris this year, they had fun, i visited france 2 times, one while i was in my father balls, he was in lione for an eye surgery (never asked for details) and one when my friend invited me to stay at his home in lille for a couple of days, the most memorable thing was this place where they sell baguettes with a shitload of...well french fries that were fried 2 times in pork fat, tasty but there is a 1\5 chance of getting an heart attack while eating it

What else? Oh yeah one of the most beatiful women i ever saw was in a french porn, never found her name...
