You don't actually have to do much. I've been banned from 4chan. I mostly just posted in ck, fit, and biz, and I didn't say much. I theorize that people posting stuff that will get them banned constantly spoof the ID's of other posters when they are posting something they know will get them banned. I have to use a VPN to post on any board so I just don't bother posting.

Op the only sure fire way I know to get banned there is posting child porn or extreme animal cruelty so either you posted something along those lines or you really pissed off someone

just remember the pedo friendly board is resetera so if you want to post about that sort of stuff they will welcome you with open arms and a discord invite

Afaik almost anything goes there unless it's illegal or really awful i.e. CP.

So it still is odd how Gamergate actually got "banned" there.

I don't get it.

Sounds like me with dating apps. I've been banned from Tinder, Bumble, MeetMe, Plenty of Fish, and OkCupid...and no matter what I've tried, they always find a way to ban me again when I've done NOTHING. I think they have some shit that knows when you upload a profile photo that you've used in the past. That's the only explanation I can think of because I've even used new phones, new numbers, new IP addresses, new About Me descriptions. I get banned just for rejecting chicks (who then run off and report my profile because someone had the audacity to not be into them lol). I've literally done nothing on several occasions except make an account and swipe...I wouldn't even talk to anybody...and I'd still get banned.

I think I got banned only once from 4chan back in maybe 2006. I kept spam-posting this image of some dude who looked like Willem Dafoe sitting in a chair eating chocolate ice cream off his dick...No idea WTF 19 year old me was thinking.

Gamergate was banned because Moot was trying to get funding for a new project of his I think.
There were also rumours that he was in an open relationship with a girl who was very heavily left leaning and maybe some of it rubbed off on him.
I believe his exact words were "cuckoldry is the thinking man's fetish".

You can get banned for organizing raids and being part of them as well, even posting in a thread about it.

They are a bit more lenient on the rules in the NSFW sections, but if you post NSFW stuff on SFW sub forums, you’ll get banned too. Unsure if you’ll get a full perm ban for doing that though.

There are more rules, it’s not a chaotic as it used to be but still a place you should tread carefully if you visit their /b/ section(it’s where they get their notoriety from)

Your ISP could also be banned too.

As I read this thread like...yesterday...my thoughts were: Is this some kind of new poetic way of account suicide?
I'm even skeptic and shields up when someone pops in here announcing they got banned from Reset. My thoughts on that are similar but different (if someone got banned from Reset...they were part of Reset...why do they come here announcing that?)

This whole week is giving me the creeps and it's only Tuesday. Last Sunday and yesterday there were two weirdo account suicides and then this guy. :pie_thinking:
