Never heard of the guy. But anyone is better than Mark at this point.

I just hired a great new actor for Transformers 4 to star against Mark Wahlberg. Jack Reynor, he is an Irish kid that came to America with 30 bucks in his pocket. Pretty ballsy. Seriously who does that? Anyway I spotted him in a great little Irish movie WHAT RICHARD DID. This kid is the real deal.

Transformers 4, is not a reboot. That word has been floating around on the net.

This movie takes place exactly 4 years after the war in Chicago. The story makes a very natural transition, and reason as to why we have a whole new cast. This Transformers will feel very different then the last three. We are embarking on a new trilogy.

They need to address Murderous Prime.

Nothing gets me hyped more than seeing Prime rage the fuck out. Doesn't suit his character but it's fucking entertaining. :lol

Anyway, never heard of this guy. Still, being a fan of Transformers, I'm looking forward to seeing what Bay does with this. First I've heard that this will be the beginning of a new trilogy though I am not surprised given the popularity of the films.

Irish Transformers huh

between this and Mark being from Boston I expect a lot of swearing in the gag reel

After the first Bayformers movie, the Decepticons were pretty much just chillin'.
Prime went on a murderous rampage against seemingly peaceful robots, putting countless humans at risk in the process.

So are they going to resurrect all the Decepticons so Optimus can kill them all again?

I'm actually curious to know what Decepticons they plan on using seeing as they killed all the major ones off. :lol Not many memorable alternatives.

All of the Autobots were like that really. Remember in that one scene Bumblebee and company were captured at first and shown mercy? I mean they were GOING to execute them after some deliberation but the first chance the Autbots got they just started completely murdering them.

And a few scenes before that there was that horrific scene where they ripped that pilot apart limb by limb. Compared to the Decepticons, they were complete psychos.

They did deserve it.

Did they...

...

did they...?

what the fuck Mark Wahlberg is actually confirmed? goddamnit >_<

and Bay is missing the point if he thinks its the grand special effects that was the problem with the previous movies. the spectacle was the best part! to tone it down may really end the series.

'We are embarking on a new trilogy'.

Oh man. I was so excited about TF2 and TF3, but they both could have been so much better. And now Bay is telling us that there are 3 more coming? Please be more dark, give the robots more time amongst each other, and make them move less cartoony. Don't get me wrong. I loved the movies, but they need change.

Agreed. Every once in a while I watch that film and I pretty much watch three parts:

First scene with Optimus
Highway chase
Some of the last scene

Nothing else really matters. That's why I'm always baffled by people saying "the story sucked" or "the story was incoherent". I genuinely don't care. It's one of those rare movies where I actually just want to see shit blow up because it's so damn fun to watch. The rest is pure filler. Pure useless filler. Only thing this movie could use is more Autobots being Autobots and not just being there for action alone. All of the human stuff in these movies is ultimately pointless.

They did deserve it.

The first one was living a simple, quiet life working construction. Even after the Autobots ambushed him, all he did was run away.
Come the fuck on, man.

Fair play to the guy, he was amazing in What Richard Did.
He seems to have attracted a lot of attention with his acting in that film, he is going to be in the new Spielberg film too.
One to watch in 2014 IMO.

The first one was bearable. The second one was atrocious. Third one was better than the second one, but still shit.

I don't think I can take anymore Transformers movies. :(

This is a common opinion, and completely wrong. It's just as awful as the second. You probably think that Revenge of the Sith is better than the other prequels.

Every time I see this, I laugh, because it's so true. Prime went from the weary soldier who didn't want to fight in Transformers to being a badass leader in Revenge of the Fallen to just saying fuck it and killing every mother fucker that got in his way in Dark of the Moon. I honestly think it was in response to people complaining that Prime was too much of a pushover in the first movie.

The third movie had a better story, had less of the annoying parents, less horrible Megan Fox acting, a somewhat mature storyline that made sense, better action, better music and mother fucking Leonard Nimoy.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Find an excuse to bring in Waspinator and Inferno, and I'll be their day fucking one.

I both love and hate Murderous Prime.

I do think they need to change his murderous ways a tad though.

And hey, maybe some other Cons will talk!!!!! wha!

Ya the Decepticons they were hunting down weren't even doing anything bad and got viciously murdered by the Autobots.

It's a problem that my immediate thought was "there haven't already been 4?" :-/

It's an even bigger problem that my initial thought was that there have only been two.

I didn't remember a single thing about the third one until my wife reminded me that Dr McDreamy from Grey's Anatomy was in it as the vil

n.

If the third one is the one where they go to the moon, then what the heck happened in the second one?

A new trilogy!

Well rustle my jimmies, I am excited indeed!

Which one of you paid full price to see these movies and fund such sequels?

Transformers, Twilight. No difference.

Sadly, there's a significant age demographic difference. A multiply by 2 age difference.

Hate to say it but Transformers is more akin to the boy version of My Little Pony in everyway, than Twilight...and Twilight is already an embarrassment to our culture.
